This is a hilarious quick paced ten-minute that would make a fantastic addition to a short play festival. Two great comedic roles for women, and many many more laughs for lucky audiences. Great work!

A funny and surprising short. POETIC LICENSE has amazing rhyming and clever phrases throughout, plus four great characters for actors to dig into. Would be so fun staged!

If a person does a good deed but they never post it on social media, does it count? And what is expected, or earned, by doing good in the world anyway? If you're not getting anything back, why warn someone they're about to step in dog poo? Hoke tackles some really interesting (and funny) questions regarding karma and why people are nice ever in this short.

A really interesting take on a historical play. The power dynamics of this play are brutal, and cut so deeply at what is happening in our country right now; particularly how people in power too often only give when it is to their advantage, instead of caring about doing something that's right or good.

There is so much passion and love in this play, the moment where Rachel Carson sees the ocean for the first time moved me to tears. Viellieu-Davis dramatizes history to great effect in this short.

A deeply poetic and beautiful play. The world Svich creates drips with such rich imagery, just reading it off the page dozens of fantastic stage pictures come into my head. I was so enthralled by the characters, and the use of time, memory, and dream. This play offers so much theatricality and spectacle I can just imagine designers leaping at the chance to bring it to life. Incredibly well done, highly recommend reading and producing USHUAIA BLUE.

This one act is a bit of a roller coaster, taking the audience through twists and turns until the last few moments when you realize the horrifying truth. The world and characters are very well crafted, leaving so much space for actors and designers to dig into and get creative with.

It is so challenging to be legitimately scary on stage, but I jumped more than once and had to hold the hand of the person next to me throughout the production of PURITY I saw. Rice has such a deft hand at building tension and suspense. Throughout the play you're not sure if you're about to see two people get together or watch someone get murdered. So creepy and very well written.

A super hilarious short play that leaves so much room for actors to play. I saw it performed live and laughed throughout!

Motherhood can be a hard transition, but this surprised me when I had my first child because mostly what we’re shown are euphoric women happy crying while staring at their babies. I wish I’d had a play like this to read or see to know that all those conflicting feelings weren’t wrong, and also that I wasn’t alone. This play is dark, funny, and strange. Luzárraga handles time, space, and language in a very creative way, and a huge hell yes to more breastfeeding on stage!
