05/11/2026 - What had me laughing out loud at the beginning put me on the edge of my seat near the end! Evan Baughfman shows off his knack for comedy and horror here in so many ways, creating a great piece that sets a time, a place, and an idea so well for the audience. The characters will speak to the writers and creators in the audience and the premise will speak to the horror lovers out there as well. Excellent work as always!

05/02/2026 - Wonderful and engaging! Talk about bringing a creative exercise to life. Reminds me of the Kinsey Millhone murder mystery series by Sue Grafton where each volume begins with a letter of the alphabet. Matthew Weaver puts the letter "X" to great use here and it is sure to get any audience member grinning from ear to ear. Well done!

05/02/2026 - A smart and funny short piece that really leaves you thinking. There's a lot of magical realism in this piece and a lot of real life in it too. One of the many reasons why it resonated with me as much as it did. Compelling from beginning to end and offers two great roles for two eager actresses. Well done!

05/02/2026 - A beautiful drama piece where an older couple runs into their younger selves. I love how so much of this piece is up to the audience and their imaginations resulting in a heartbreakingly beautiful piece that can either be sad or happy depending on how you look at it. Great creative concept makes for a great night at the theatre. Well done!

04/27/2026 - A gripping thriller from beginning to end. An engaging premise, a complex protagonist, and a chilling antagonist loaded with twists and turns. Reminded me of "The Game" with Michael Douglas and I couldn't stop turning the pages. Would love to see this on stage one day!

04/26/2026 - One of the more imaginative original plays I've read in years! What begins as a waiting room comedy quickly dives into a piece about playwriting, storytelling, theatre, and the types of characters we've loved over the years. Theatre-makers will love this as it speaks to them and audience members will love it for its wit and how it peels back the curtain on the creative process. Witty, endearing, and the kind of piece that makes you think. Well done!

04/03/2026 -Wow! This play went in a multitude of directions that I was not expecting, and I absolutely loved it! What begins with two men crossing paths in a park (reminiscent of Waiting for Godot) turns into something much more with the revelation of secret connections as well as a variety of twists that keep building off each other in a believable and engaging way. A lot of suspense, humor, and even some history of the British Royal Family, Phillip's "Erstwhile" is a real winner!

03/31/2026 - I love the juxtaposition that Ken Love uses to tell this slick and engrossing tale. An assassin getting ready to kill, getting ready to destroy, as he works to create a poem. He works really hard to create something truly beautiful and Ken has succeeded in this Erstwhile inspired piece. Would love to see performed. Great work as always!

03/31/2026 - A monologue that is as gripping as it is powerful. I love how we learn more and more about the relationship between the two brothers as the monologue unfolds, including the good, the bad, and the various twists and turns. This would be the kind of monologue that would put audiences on the edge of their seats as they listen to every word. Great work!

03/28/2026 - In just a single page, Evan Baughman manages to present a wonderfully imaginative and compelling concept, and a beautiful relationship between father and son. This works beautifully as a one-minute piece but could be expanded into a ten-minute piece, a one-act, or a full-length. Just like the premise of the magic ice cream shop, the possibilities are magical! Exceptionally well done!
