  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Midler on the Roof

This wacky play is actually quite relatable to those of us in "the industry." Artists only feel their worth based on what people recognize them for. And even the biggest stars can feel like they've lost their shine. This play, even through its humor, shows that there is always someone out there that thinks you're the brightest in the sky. True Busser wackiness? You Bette!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: HAPPY NEW YEAR (from the CRACKED UP CHRISTMAS COLLECTION)

You get the feeling you really know these characters from this holiday snapshot of a play. And it truly is a happy new year with surprises and new love.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Even when the storm comes: A Full-Length Play

This play settles its characters and audience in a place that feels safe and familiar, a park. And little by little the connected families and friends spend scenes reminiscing together. And we begin to see lives hit with love and powerful loss. Each scene could play on its own as a standalone short play, but together we are able to see the impact of time and strength on a group hit with multiple tragedies.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: No Tavern for Young Men

This is unlike any Halloween play you've ever witnessed, but it has a very important message. I hope the little bear, clown and vampire take to heart what they have seen this night! A little sad and a lot special!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Are You Comfortable?

Wow, how quickly this conversation intensifies! I feel this might play extremely well as audio theatre. The sound effects and performances would leave the listeners leaning in and creating amazing pictures in their minds, just like this script did for me as a reader. You have little information as to who these speakers are, and you start to think you know what is going on, until...this is a real thriller!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Trends

Laughed out loud at the blow line! So fun and adorable. A great moment shared between grandmother and granddaughter all in one minute!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Slapjack Saturday

Grief does make people do strange things and create connections to things they normally wouldn't. In this case, Darlene puts all her misplaced love into a raccoon...I am not ashamed to say I have been Darlene! But it was very nice to see she was able to open back up to her human friend again. A very sweet, even with raccoon antics, play about loss and friendship.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Something Borrowed...

I love how biting the humor is between the two warring sisters. Very funny, very relatable and suddenly...very dark! Absolutely a showcase piece for two strong actors! Hilarious and so very delightfully Busser-ian...Can that be a word now?

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Matter of fact or Fiction?

This is such a fascinating piece of theatre. We can't be sure if Amanda or Amanda 2 is the unreliable narrator, especially when one calls out the other with "I never said that!" Time can change our memories. But also, horrifying events don't always play out the way one would expect them to. There's a lot to unpack in this piece and would be great with a talkback afterward.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Would You Trust Me?

This is a play for a strong female ensemble. Fast paced and full of mystery and wit! A great option for student one act performances.
