  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: What All the Girlies Are Doing in There

This is just great! Seeking out counseling is often terrifying in general, but when your counselor crawls out of a mirror and is covered in blood...?! The risk is worth it! Seek wisdom, take risks and definitely enjoy this fun play!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Lizzy - 10 Minute Play

Oh Lizzy definitely rules this story. You think you know the twist, but boom! Criss Cross! This would be a fun, spooky piece for teen actors!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Dead Mother

A noir horror about loss and guilt. With hints of PSYCHO and Poe. We aren't sure how much we can trust the speaker and his view of reality. A powerful piece for a solo performer.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: armchAIr critic

Good for Emily fighting AI with AI! This is what every playwright fears and now, through art, we continue to fight. Deb Cole leads the fight against lazy reviews in this fun and cutting short play!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: THE MOUNTAIN OF THE SERVANTS OF GOD

The clock on this play is so very real! My heart was racing as I got to the end. The relics of the past in physical and emotional form both racing against the clock to be saved...or at least preserved. A powerful female forward story for the ages.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: HOWLING AT THE MOON - a one minute play

Proof that the only one who will ever truly understand you and have a conversation of value with you is your dog.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: MADONNA OF THE CELL (MONODRAMA)

This monologue hits hard visually and textually. The comparison to the Virgin Mary having a look of love and peace, knowing full well what lies ahead to Grace and the cause of her people is so powerful. Fighting a fight you know is hopeless, but still right is such an act of courage. This is so important to remember, especially today.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Food Chain

It's always wonderful when you can find your people. And it's also nice to swap recipes with new friends. This is a creepy family dinner and perhaps the start of a fabulous new collaboration? I love they try all flavors in their recipes, too!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: MESSAGES FROM SEA - A Teen One-Act Play

As a playwright, I often wonder what will become of my unfinished plays when I am gone. This story of Alex's classmates trying to do just that, while seeing the deeper meaning in the words she wrote as well as what she didn't have a chance to write is so beautiful. So many statements are like paintings, they hit hard and deep. This will be a play quoted in poignant moments in everyone's lives for years after being a part of this production.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Vulgarity of Grace

Gracia is an inspirational character for her time. Her sister Reyna throws the word "vulgar" around like a weapon, but it is clear that the world she knew is changing and she is way out of ammo. The twist at the end shows how brilliant Gracia truly is and leaves no doubt she has a strong future ahead.
