  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: SO GAY

This is a powerful example of what theatre can be and can do beyond the traditional "buy a ticket and sit quietly in the dark while they do the show." This is wholly collaborative and educational, but also potentially life saving. I'm sad we need theatre like this play, but I am so glad playwrights like Deb Cole have the skill and vision to create it so we won't need it in the future!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: A Second Chance to Say Goodbye

This is absolutely beautifully and heart breaking. But what a gift to give someone. Both the one who is passing and the one who wants to be there to say "goodbye"..."Or later."
There is a great dramatic monologue in here that is so real and will be hard not to cry through.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Amethyst Ghost: Episode One - The Eye of Bastet

This is such a fun, classic super hero radio adventure! Original characters and lots of fun to play with the voices and sound. I love how Claire has the opportunity to shine with her secret identity as well as her illusions.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: LAUGHING THROUGH LIFE - one act, stand-up comedian meets up with past lover

This feels like the start of a rom com screenplay. There is so much more to this story and Natalie knows it! I hope her dreams come true!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Making Some Noise

These three sisters have a family tree deeply scarred with immense tragedy. It almost feels a part of their DNA. But this beautiful play is letting them finally acknowledge the scars and still allow themselves to grow new branches, without guilt over finding joy. So beautiful. Like a sad song that lets you release all the tension you've built up over time and open the floodgates to happiness in the future.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Earl from Greenville

This a play saturated in hard truths. People like Gary and Earl and even Beatrice still very much exist. And just like in the real world, there are no real answers on how to enlighten these people either. Gary truly behaves like he's as enlightened as he needs to be. But, I still see a glimmer of hope in here. And I would love to see Gary get a whole face full of enlightenment!
    Very well crafted characters here.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Dear Angie

Such a sweet and magical play. Everyone should find an Angie in their lives. And hopefully Andy will continue on her legacy!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Frankentherapy

This is so much fun! I love how this piece is genuinely discussing The Creature's trauma, but The Creature still remains the classic character we all know. It is honestly a beacon of hope that we can all get better, no matter how haphazardly we are currently put together!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: SEND IN THE CLOWN - full length, young boy cast to play opposite to Americas beloved clown.

This is the start of a great mentorship from reluctant teacher, Stu. Stu is very set in his ways and when he sees a threatening talent in young Tommy, he rebels. Love how he quite literally passes his star down to his new protege. I hope they can grow together as artists.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Stuck in Street View

The device of showing the battery losing power really amps up the tension in this piece! Such a creepy, scifi play. Very engaging story all the way through the end.
