  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: You Got it Right!

Reminiscent of a classic campfire tale. Our three characters are trapped in their own anxiety of what is to come, what could come and what they wish could be. This is charmingly disconcerting!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: No One Will Be With You Shortly

This monologue is the word version of Edvard Munch's painting "The Scream." The colors are engaging and beautiful, like Deirdre's words are engaging and beautiful. But the whole picture tells a story of suffering in silence too long. Of wanting out, but not knowing any other way but finality. Terrifyingly relatable and heartbreaking.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Marley's Ghost

Oh the ache of sadness that reverberates through this short play is deep. And in all the years of imagining what I would do with 3 wishes, I never considered the consequences and/or desires of those around me that my wish might affect. Herb's return to this earthly plane is just as much an eye opener for me as it is for John. Absolutely thought provoking and heartbreaking.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: CHUM AND GET IT!

This is a horror monologue, right? Theatre makers may see themselves in this picture and not like it. But this is brilliantly biting commentary on how some theatres treat the "new play initiatives" they claim to champion. Someone please read Agnes' play!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: PARASITE

Terrifying in a minute. Something nefarious takes root, and soon you can't tell where the host ends and the parasite begins. This reads as both a physical and spiritual take over. And one that is very real and very scary.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Naughty List

Absolutely delightful holiday fair for those of us who lean toward The Naughty List ourselves! Tinsel is done with MAKING gifts and is ready to start TAKING! The audience will truly be on the side of these charismatically naughty characters!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Stage Mom

These ladies had me so stressed, despite the hilarity of their biting words. As a former child actor whose mother was NOTHING like these ladies, but had to put up with stage mom bullies nonetheless, it made me sad for their children. But I adore how the children are actually shining examples to their moms...to a certain extent! And with lines like "you are just an easily preventable
disease away from the spotlight," you know you will have the audience in stitches!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Ask Me Anything

Oh man! No wonder it's so hard to get a job these days! This is smart and Steve is damn near Machiavellian in his techniques. Honesty may be the best policy, but to what end?

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: ALICE

This could be the start of a new urban legend! The Alice rhymes feel eerie and familiar. As do Casey's feeling of inadequacy. All of that locked in a creepy attic is a recipe for nightmares and more stories about Alice!
