This play. This piece is so human and beautiful and bittersweet. Just reading it, I could picture the whole thing in my mind. It's just such good writing. By giving us James' point of view, Feriend has given us a glimpse into the family drama surrounding the New Testament's main character. The familial relationships between these characters are so strong. It was sweet and sad and funny and inspiring all at the same time. I want to see this play onstage (or film) so badly. Someone please produce JAMES OF NAZARETH!!!!

This is a piece of art.
Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn's beautiful characters have pointed to the light peeking out of the darkness, highlighting a meaning to everything. When I tell you I literally cried reading this play... love it!

Wow!! Bartlett has crafted a story of a found family brought together by a force beyond the grave they claim to long for. These characters were very human in a way that made me invested in their lives and beyond. I couldn't look away from this script.

I LOVE Thena and Taz, so of course I am a big fan of this play! The idea of a certain cursed seer working food service is so silly-goofy. Toss her into a situation with two characters who live for banter and hijinks will ensue! This play is full of Rex Mc Gregor's classic cleverness and charm, and it just makes me smile.
Plus, my heart is put at ease knowing the future of Thena and Taz's relationship...even if they don't believe it.

  • Hannah Lee DeFrates: Thena and Taz

Characters are always the first thing I notice when encountering a play and I love these characters so much! There is such charm in these wives who show their love for each other through battles of wit and tag-teaming to help each other achieve their goals. Taz and Thena are two of my favorite characters in Rex McGregor's theatrical canon. Everyone needs to read this play and then go produce it!

    MOOOOOOOOOO!
I love Plumridge's vision of this nursery rhyme. This piece is fun and quirky and bantery and self-aware in all the best ways. It's giving sitcom that takes place in the country but with farm animals, and I love it.
I'd be so interested to see what this would look like on the stage! #ibelieveincow2

Mandela effect, man. It can make you feel like your reality is inside-outside-upside-down. Very silly-goofy!

This is exactly what happened when Edgar Allan Poe wrote "The Raven;" can confirm.
Hageman is a comedy genius. This play had me rolling! Nevermore will I be the same, because I am now a big big big big fan of this piece. This play is so incredibly funny. The dialogue and the characters are perfection. I love it. I want to do it. I want to see it staged. Defy your fear and have a good day!

  • Hannah Lee DeFrates: Things they Don't Want You to Know

A know-it-all conspiracy theorist working the night shift at the morgue with an undercover undead being? Well, I'd call that delicious irony. (which coincidentally might also be how Brandon would describe his breakfast) Gauthier's dark comedy is sneaky and calculated with a fun payoff at the end. This play would be really fun to see onstage, especially in October.

Who knew building a gingerbread house in the middle of the woods involved so much red tape? This tongue-in-cheek little fairytale comedy is so clever and fun. Witch and Wolf are such fun characters with a good back and forth. It has the vibes of classic sketch comedy and I am here for it. I'd love to see this onstage.
