Once again, John Mabey shows their immense talent with THE ACTIVE OVAL. This two hander is a moving and heartfelt play of two strangers who become friends after opening up about some very difficult subject matter. I was lucky enough to see a reading of this with Dragon Productions.

THE GOD PART is a beautiful and moving play. Dana Leslie Goldstein has created two strong characters and takes the audience/readers on a powerful journey from beginning to end (or rather, from today to yesterday to tomorrow).

GUTEN TAG, BABY! is my first experience reading and watching (at Left Edge Theatre) a play by Scott Sickles. And it absolutely, without-a-doubt, no question will be the first of many! This play is powerful and moving with beautifully written characters, each with their own fully-developed story arcs. Read this play (or rent a recording of the production). Looking forward to experiencing more of this playwright's work.

YOU'RE WELCOME THANK YOU is an excellent two hander. Deftly written and with two strong female characters. And to top it off, Richard Lyons Conlon makes it super easy for this to be performed through pantomimed action on a barebones set.

AND FOR YOUR LAST BREATH is an emotionally potent play. Beautiful and heartfelt and intense. I had the chance to catch this one performed with Left Edge Theatre. Great work to Emily Russell!

THE TARANTULA'S PET FROG is a truly adorable play. Rex McGregor has written three very creative anthropomorphic characters that would be a delight to see brought to life on stage.

A 3-ACT, CENTURIES-LONG LOVE AFFAIR (ABRIDGED) is a sweet and short (one minute!) piece by John Mabey. The play has, dare I say, quite the bite!

RELATIVITY & ME is a beautiful and engaging story that really surprises its audience with unexpectedly sweet and heartfelt characters (and the icing on the cake is that it is a sci-fi play about time travel!). Great work to Len Cuthbert.

BEWARE THE IDES OF MARS is charming, campy, and very entertaining! Erin Osgood brings us the rare gem of comedy and science fiction paired together. This was an absolute hoot to read!

ALWAYS is a beautiful and emotionally heartfelt play that will leave readers/audiences smiling with tears in their eyes. Dana Hall has this incredible knack for creating strong characters and relationships, and ALWAYS is the perfect example of such.
