We had the great privilege of hearing this at our Sunday night play reading and putting an actual voice to Monalis was fabulous and yet terrifying. This is a fascinating and curious piece that offers a fascinating analysis of the threat of technology. It's a perfect piece for a look at what the future could hold with wonderful tension and an enthralling conversation.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Charlie

We had the great privilege of reading this piece at our Sunday night play reading and it was a wonderfully refreshingly honest and emotional conversation about relationships between mother and daughter. The dialogue draws you in and it leaves you with many questions, but in the best possible way! As always, George gives you characters that you can't help but want to know more. Its wonderfully touching and funny in equal measure.

Who would have thought that waking up after a night you can't remember would yield such an amazing tale of discovery? Michael's piece presents the audience with a fascinating set of characters and as the audience we get to watch their lives/histories unfold before our eyes. It has a soap opera quality (in a good way) in the sense that from page 1 you are keen to see what happens next! It's a play that offers a view of relationships that feel real with brilliant characters to play!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: RICHMOND UNDERGROUND

There's a certain wonderfulness about historical dramas that bring history to life and for me, Richmond Underground was one of those plays. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know a great deal about the period but Rachel as a writer guided me through the story of the Van Lew's and what they did to aid those in need. It's a thrilling tale of brave and powerful characters that, if given the chance to be produced, I think would draw an audience into history as well as entertain.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Ripper

Ripper stories have been done in many different forms so it's wonderfully refreshing to find a new perspective on it. Jacob has presented the audience with a fabulous game of cat and mouse where a young woman with dreams of being a reporter finds herself involved with one of the most infamous killers in history! The story twists and turns with an addictive quality that had mean leaning eagerly forward as I read, desperate to know what would happen next. If you're looking for a thriller with a refreshing perspective that is sure to entertain and terrify, this is it!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Rats are Racist

I fully appreciated the 'life is like Tetris' that is discussed in this play. James creates a complex and interesting scenario as these young people debate various issues, all while considering their own lives and the world of creativity. Its a play I can imagine being discussed at length in the pub afterwards because the powerful dialogue as well as the inspirational monologues can't help but inspire debate. If you're looking for a play that taxes your own thoughts on the complexities of gender, society and relationships then this is the play for you!

Holly's story is one of emotion and heartache with a powerful message. Not only is Holly's story one you get invested in but, as each character joins the story you are just as invested in how their lives are going to turn out. Backed by powerful issues like abortion, adoption, same-sex marriage/relationships, and the prejudices that attack them, this story is one to inform, educate as well as entertain. Holly's story is one people should consider and take notice of because, regardless of when the scenes are set, you can still learn a lot! A wonderfully created story!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Hey Babe

In the world of domination/submission in relationships its generally acknowledged that it is based on trust and (to a certain extent) maintaining control over another person. Well, Sam has taken that concept and driven it to a dark and terrifying place. Personally, I had a deep dislike of Marcus and his tone from the word go which descended into hatred as the play went on. This shows how much of an affect Sam's writing and his characters can have on an audience, its a tremendous opportunity for one actor to play a dark and twisted character!

So, I want to say loads of fabulous things about the story of this play and how it puts a similar line of story to shame, but I can't, because that would ruin it for others who will read it, and believe me you should! This fabulous comedy/thriller keeps its audience entertained and guessing from the word go. Relationships are complicated most of the time without throwing in the additional 'complications' that Stacey and David have, which Brenton has created brilliantly, they are characters I want to see, want to direct and frankly...I want to play. Brilliant piece!

I've never wanted to yell profanities at a person so much as I did by the end of this play but in a good way. I won't say any more about the ending but Allie has created a wonderful snapshot of the word of cold calling that twists and turns until you're not sure where its going. Then just when you least suspect it, she launches the ending at you. It a play that sure to entertain audiences and leave them speachless by the fabulous ending. Want to know what it its? Then read it! You wont regret it!
