I'm not normally one for post apocalyptic themed plays but I was pleasantly surprised by this piece. A wonderful balancing act of a thrilling journey set against a tense and dangerous backdrop with tender moments that really make you feel for the characters. Would be intrigued to see how a director could bring this piece to life and ensure the story and characters are given justice, as they definitely deserve to be!

A Fabulously intriguing piece! The layout of the piece (flitting in and out of past events and how those scenes interact with the main storyline) is brilliant! Eileen Kinsella would make an amazing character for any actress to play. Her biting witty and humorous commentary in places allows you truly to see her as a character even when just reading the script. I heartily believe this piece would make a brilliant production for an intimate theatre and would have the audience on the edge of the seat and go away talking about it!

This piece takes a brilliant twist on what you can actually do with a performance on Zoom. Its a brilliantly clever back and forth that keeps the audience guessing right the way through. I also love that it comes with a tender moment towards the end. A lovely piece.

A beautifully sad piece where anyone would struggle not to shed a tear. Death can be a cliched subject to explore but I believe the phrasing here brings something new and gives the character a unique voice. It would be a powerful piece for an audition.

Despite being a short piece the play gives a great deal of insight into not only the relationship between the two characters but their individual personalities. It creates an interesting scenario that any audience would be interested to see unfold.

Despite having an undertone of a sad subject matter this piece gives us a beautiful glimpse into the lives of this couple and allows the audience to relate to them. I personally agree with the concept of not being able to sleep without that person beside you and it is that central bond between the characters which not only gives the piece its depth but also gives it another dimension between the sadness and moments of humour.

From the moment I read the character description of "necessary F-bombs because God forgives" this had me chuckle so I knew I had to read it! The play itself, despite having moments of humour, at its centre is a hard hitting story centres around the relationship between the two sisters. The difference between the two personalities coupled with the quick back and forth dialogue makes this an intense piece but definitely has some beautiful and witty moments.

A really beautiful piece that creates some lovely images in your head of the characters last 20 years of going to father/daughter dances. Its a perfect balance of tender and tragedy that brought a tear to my eye. Would make a good audition monologue I think.

The dialogue of this piece bounces back and forth at a great pace and goes in and out of emotions/topics at a really good pace. The build of the atmosphere and clashes between the different characters make this a funny, tense and emotional piece all in one.

This play takes an interesting journey through the emotions between the two friends in a setting of what is already a fragile time. Watching them both move through the various emotions until they reach the moment at the end is a very involved experience, even when just reading. Makes me think this would be a good play to see as it draws the audience in.
