  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: EIGHT NIGHTS

The past and how it can haunt a person comes alive in this powerful emotion filled piece. Despite the play being set over a long period of time you are never lost and never do you deter from wanting to see how the stories of these survivors unfold. I love the intimacy of using one room for the entirety of the piece and watching the characters come and go over time but they are never forgotten, you always want to know the next bit of their story. This is a piece of power with very real emotions woven throughout.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Earth and Moon

AWWWWWW! I love a play that turns non-conventional things/ideas into characters and this piece is a fabulous example of that. Its a beautiful idea full of dialogue that varies from the humourous to the insightful and offers anyone who decides to perform it (of which many should) endless possibilities for costume and stage. Its such a lovely piece in spite of its sad moments and i can honestly say the next time I look up at the moon I will be considering it a little differently. This is definitely the play for those looking for the unique and wonderful!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: ELLERY

So, despite the central situation being an unusual one Jennifer makes the characters and the way they talk about the unusual situation they have found themselves in seem very real. The relationships between Becca and her family and friends draws you in as an audience and then further intriegue and tension is added making this a play you can't fail to get invested in. Plus the fact that it offers wonderful roles for women is just icing on a lovely constructed cake! Produce this to give actresses of multiple ages the chance to play some fabulous characters!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Easter Bunny

Well...I don't think I will think about Easter the same way again! What starts out as a chaotic persuit of the Easter Bunny takes twists and turns through amusing back and forth dialogue with several laugh out loud moments before you are hit with a twist you do not see coming. On reaching the end my mind was abuzz with questions and I suspect an audience would feel the same way. Its a piece that entertains, offers the unexpected and leaves you with multiple conversation topics to dwell on. Any performance would be great to produe and watch!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: EMERGENCY CONTACT

This play is built with very real dialogues and characters you want to get invested in. The audience becomes a fly on the wall one fateful night when two people, both messed up in their own way happen to meet and, through a series of events that feel like they could happen to anyone, a third joins them. From the word go you want to know what is happening and as the story unfolds you NEED to know how it will progress. Its a wonderfully real and emotional piece that frames the compexity that is circumstances and relationships

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: DITMAS (10-minutes)

This play offers a wonderful series of twist and turns as you are invited to witness a multi layered social interaction. I went through a wonderful roller coaster of emotions as to begin with I felt embarrassed for Sharon as she tries, very badly to engage in normal conversation. But, as the realisations came out about both characters and their background stories I couldn't help but smile. I could not only picture them both sat in that bar but I could picture them as youngsters in their high school. This is a lovely two-hander piece that offers loads of smiles!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Dated Humor (Online Version)

The world of dating is always a perilous one and Ken has given a wonderfully unique twist on that utilising the world if internet dating. This play would be brilliant to watch as poor Ross appears to repeatedly put his foot in his mouth as a desperate attempt for the date to go well, only for it to... Well you'll have to read yourself to find out but its a brilliant example of conversational humour that anyone has been on an awkward first date can relate to!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Divine Truth

Deb has a wonderfully unique gift to create powerful female characters that the audience become invested in, and so it was the case here with me. I found myself feeling so much for Eleanor, struck down by grief and not being aware of things going on in her own family. Its a piece that addresses religion and in certain parts the hypocrisy of a 'holier than thou' attitude when the person in question has secrets of their own. As an audience you will be taken into the lives of these wonderfully created characters and NEED to know what happens!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Dancing on Live Wire

The world of addiction has always been powerful and Julia has created a vivid and powerful world for the audience to observe as Chaz descends further into his addiction. Starting with a powerful image of physical movement, which extends throughout the piece its a piece that is bound to provoke an emotional response from the audience to the relatable main character and his struggles as well as his partner. Its a brilliantly powerful piece that addresses an important issue with beautiful imagery. Would make a great piece for young people to make others aware of the dangers of drugs.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Demons Helping Demons

The realm of the demonic is one that has many myths and legends and Jacquelyn has done a great job of twisting them into this brilliantly funny piece. As an audience you are a fly on the wall as three demons and a human engage in conversation about the world of what its like to be a demon and to be a human going through loss. It offers wonderfully witty dialogue that won't fail to have you laughing out loud but at the same time has some heartfelt moments that will resonate with people. Just needs an audience now!
