  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Birds Are Feeding Me

We had the great fun of reading this play in our Sunday evening play reading group and it was a wonderfully funny play to read. As well as drawing the mind back to a time when lockdown was in its prime and neighbours were suppposed to be looking out for each other but in this piece you find yourself wondering initially if some neighbours have nothing better to do than complain. But then Rex expertly provides a glorious and beautiful twist that presents a wonderful snapshot of what a small act of kindness can do!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Maria and Little Joey Have a Baby

I had the great pleasure of producing this piece as an audio play for my podcast. This thrilling and tense encounter between the fleeing daughter of a mobster and the well-meaning young man he sent to find her works brilliantly as a piece of audio theatre and an alternative to your standard Christmas show! So, if you're looking for a fun back and forth with moments of tension that will have you leaning forward in your chair then this is the play for you!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: BIRTHRIGHTS...and WRONGS (a 10 minute play)

I recently had the great fun of producing this play has an audio piece for my podcast. As I worked my way through it I had the joy of discovering the layers of subtext that exist surrounding the meeting of these two characters, each weighed down by guilt that they may not witness the birth of someone important to them. Its a brilliantly crafted conversation that will inspire conversations. I know this because it certainly did for me. The play's possibilities doesn't stop at audio, it would make a brilliantly powerful performance piece too!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Paranormal Club's Seventh Annual Haunted House Sleepover

So, I have recommended this play before but now I do it with a producer/director hat on. We had the great privilege of producing this play for my audio play podcast "Theatrical Shenanigans" and with the wonderfully tense dialogue, a story full of twists and turns, and brilliant twist this piece basically made itself. While I created this piece for audio, it is my belief that it would make a wonderful spine-tingling piece for live theatre. I recently had a conversation about how few horror plays there are out there now but this is one of the great ones!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: A Wager

I had the great privilege of producing this play for my audio play podcast "Theatrical Shenanigans" and it was an utter thrill to produce. Sarah and Hadley have created two brilliantly intriguing (although morally questionable characters) and invited an audience to watch as they engage in a brilliantly paced, tension fuelled game of cat and mouse while keeping the audience guessing when it comes to who will come out on top!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Ahavah

We've had the pleasure of reading this play at our Sunday night play reading before and it offers up a wonderful gift of witty back-and-forth between a couple trying to negotiate the minefield that is a gathering of a traditional family. It's wonderfully written with two characters that you can't help but care about and if you've ever been caught up in the desire to prove yourself to your family then you'll definitely relate. This piece scores the triple for me, it entertains, insights emotion and conversation!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Wheel of Fortune Reversed

The GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT podcast did a fabulous job at bringing to life this wonderful piece that offers emotions in spades! There are so many stereotypes of what death is but to see this unique and fabulous twist on that was intriguing as well as emotionally stimulating. It's a piece that would make a tremendous performance but as an audio piece it was fabulously done and I thoroughly recommend giving it a listen! - https://gatherbytheghostlight.podbean.com/

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Coal For Christmas

We had the great privilege of reading this play for our Sunday night play reading and it was utterly glorious! Dana draws you into the mystery of missing Santa and throws in several spanners, interlaced with wonderful moments of humour with a fabulous twist on the end. It would make an utterly fabulous play for a Christmas evening!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: I Invited Your Mother for Thanksgiving

We had the great privilege of reading this at our Sunday night play reading and, as Don has done with many of his plays, he's perfectly captured the essence of relationships here. As an audience, you get the privilege of being a fly on the wall when Warren discovers Dale has committed an utter sin (at least in my mind) by inviting his partner's mother to Thanksgiving without consulting him. The play offers wonderful moments of humour and emotion in equal measure and offers a brilliant performance opportunity for two performers.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Ghostly Christmas Pest

I love a re-imagining of a classic and in this case, Rex McGregor brings Ebenezer Scrooge as a grouchy ghost with an issue to voice about a different Christmas Carol. It's a brilliantly funny back-and-forth piece that could be wonderfully set on stage or digitally and we had the great privilege of reading it as part of our Sunday night play reading for "Christmas in July" but this play would make a wonderfully funny and welcome addition to any festive evening!
