  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Last Week

I had the great privilege of producing this play for my Audio Play Podcast "Theatrical Shenanigans" and its a play that stands to speak to audiences on many levels. The idea of loss, the idea of regret at the end and mistakes made are something that can linger in the mind and that is what Jessie's characters discuss as John debates with his healthworker. Its wonderfully written piece that was a joy to produce and I can imagine it will be just as good, if not better, with a live performance!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Absurdity of It All

We had the privilege of having this fabulous piece performed as part of our Sunday night play reading and it was utterly fascinating and entertaining to read. In a world of 'sensible' and 'orderly' Chris has created a fabulous world of the absurd and chaotic where Ranzo tries to tell a story to be constantly questioned steered off on tangents. Its a play of wonderfully intricate dialogue that won't fail to insight thought, debate and emotion, and all that from a world that is crying out for nonsense of this kind, the best kind, wonderfully written and needs a show!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Talking with my Dad

There is so much powerful content explored here in this brilliantly emotionally provocative piece its sure to hold an audience's attention. The idea of being in a hospital waiting on news or surgeries is a daunting prospect at the best of times and John explores not only that but the relationships between his characters with a great sense of emotion. You feel for Frankie as he faces not only the idea of his own medical problems but the memory of his father. A great and powerful piece!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Tax Preparation for Dogs (3 short plays about the hard-of-hearing)

As with so many of his plays, John has created a comedically brilliant play on words with this piece! Coupling that with the images that came into my head of dogs sitting there having their taxes done and I just couldn't stop smiling. There are some ideas where a writer questions if they're good ones or not but not only is this collection of shorts a brilliant idea, it's hilariously portrayed and sure to leave an audience in stitches!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Telling Dad (Ten Minute)

Paul creates a piece of wonderful of opposites here. The way the piece begins with the judgements and steorotypes of what it means to be transgender vs the way the piece ends is beautifully balanced. It's a very real conversation a lot of people are having and that's what makes it a relatable piece of theatre for so many. The very real situation constructed with very believable characters is what would make this a relatable and powerful piece for performance, particularly for young people. Brilliantly done Paul!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Foolish Insanity

The impact people have on our lives and how it can affect our psyche, that is the story Julia is guiding the audience through here. It's a story that makes you want to know how it turns out and you can picture it as a busy piece as you, as an audience member are swept through various locations as you become a fly on the wall in this young woman's life and see how she is affected. This would make a wonderfully impressive piece to stage as the audience contemplate how much do the events in our life define us?

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Fun

We had the great pleasure of producing this piece for audio play podcast Theatrical Shenanigans. The wonderful cat and mouse dialogue contained within a power struggle is brilliantly constructed here and leaves the audience continuously guessing about what will happen to A and B as the interview progresses. Its a piece that escalates tension wonderfully, which is what made it such a great piece to produce! https://theatricalshenanigans.podbean.com/e/episode-6-fun-melissa-schmi…

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER

We had the great privilege of producing this place audio play podcast and. Its an enchanting piece with wonderful dialogue that flows back and forth but at its heart it shows how much one person can have an impact on your life when they remind you its about 'putting one foot in front of the other'. A wonderfully written piece that works for both audio and stage - https://theatricalshenanigans.podbean.com/e/episode-7-one-foot-in-front…

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Corporeal Punishment

Oooooo! The fabulousness of the twists and turns in this piece is sure to have an audience on the edge of their seats! The tale is one of sorcery, hidden emotions and manipulation but not necessarily in that order. That's the gift Scott gives us as the mystery of what exactly Stephen, Spence and Harvey are doing in that house and how things will unfold. Its a tension fuelled mystery that keeps on giving and would make a great addition to any Halloween evening. Its sure to have an audience intrigued from start to finish!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Smarty Pants

We all have our own rituals on the big important days that we hope will make them go well and that is what Megan is desperately trying to hang onto as she prepares for her big exam, despite all Ty's attempts to thwart/mock her. I'm not going to lie, the character of Ty frustrated and angered me with the way he speaks to Megan and his general attitude. However, that is explained by a wonderful twist created at the end that allows the audience to see why Ty is the way he is. It's brilliantly constructed!
