  • First Draft
    17 Dec. 2022
When I first started reading this play I thought to myself, this would be better suited as a movie due to its nature, although as I kept reading I thought "eh, keep it as a play, that what it is, right?"...and low and behold I was mesmerized by the story of these characters; one that could keep you going, yet leave you wondering what could happen to them as time goes on.

I surely hope 'Johnathon Teary' (Rachel) does a "second draft" because I'd love to see where Masked Killer (Kevin) and Jenna go next!
  • How to Build a Table
    16 Dec. 2022
BATHKE’s piece “How To Build A Table” is perfection at its finest. The father and son banter makes it all feel so real. Lovely work! I highly recommend this piece to anyone looking for a well done two hander of family, familiarity, and of course, the “building of a table”!
  • A Ruby in a Sky of Diamonds
    3 Dec. 2022
I am usually not one for fantasy, but PLUMRIDGE’s “A Ruby In A Sky Of Diamonds” I think did it!…
A heartbreaking story turned beautiful! A story that everyone should read. Should see. One that is prolific even. Bravo!
  • DEAD & COMPANY (5 minute play)
    25 Nov. 2022
To remember someone is try their best to remember small parts; the best parts, but Elisabeth goes far and beyond Denny as one person. The entire life wrapped up in five minutes, and taken to great heights. I would love to see this show produced, or to even direct it. A powerful piece of work! Bravo!
  • A Fragile Mind - Recurring Nightmares
    25 Nov. 2022
Same as show 1 "Press The Red Button" comes "Recurring Nightmares" at marvelous rate. After reading, I am left with two things: 1) Kelli needs some work, not from the playwright, but from a personal perspective. She's too handsy. 2) About Tammy, waking up feeling caught, yeah. I've been there a time or two. Well done! Ready to charge on with the rest.
  • A Fragile Mind - Press The Red Button
    25 Nov. 2022
PRESS THE RED BUTTON by Joe Swenson is one of the best plays I've read to date. I could clearly see everything happening in my mind. It all felt so clear. The characters are well written, and the storyline is far from needing work. It's technically perfect. More I say, prolific. Roundabout Theatre in New York. If you would, please pick this up. And now. Press The Red Button will not disappoint audiences in the least. Well done.
  • Look Before You Leap
    23 Nov. 2022
Loved this little comedy! Parts that are hilarious, parts that are sweet, all wrapped up with in between. Three actors aren't going to be scared "diving" into COLE's marvelous piece! Bravo!
  • OUTCASTS AND REBELS
    17 Nov. 2022
This is marvelous! It feels as if based of some true events. It feels real; relatable. High school and dating can be rough for a girl like Cassie, although sometimes the lone wolves are the ones that always become the leader of the pack. I would love to see where this story takes Cassie, and I’m sure others would too! Bravo!
  • Birthday Beer
    2 Nov. 2022
“Birthday Beer” by Floyd-Priskorn is a touching meet-cute and the life relationships have to offer; even if they aren’t romantic. This play is poignant, and will surely delight audiences with its simplicity and wit, yet its rich, believable dialogue and its “real-life” characters. Bravo!
  • BIRTHRIGHTS...and WRONGS
    15 Oct. 2022
This is a first I’ve read of Marj’s plays…it was wonderful. I would like to point out the fact, of how she used my name; thank you. If you are looking for a play that deals with truthfulness and heartache all in one, this is the play for you. This play is prolific. Masterful. Well done.
