I've read many of Cole's scripts, but this one hits home. It's kind in heart, yet poetic and beautiful in dialogue. Prolific piece.

“Snowflake” as HEYMAN has titled it, is a poignant moment in LGBTQ+ world. This ten-minute takes us on short and sweet ride of queer diversity and loving yourself for who you are.
Definitely saving this to my list and will be coming back for more!

I’ve read a many of Deb’s plays, and tonight this one was read in the Literary and Discourse Play Reading Group, and might I say this was funny! I loved it! The banter between two woman and their old haggard boss! Beautifully designed, beautifully read, gorgeously written! Wonderful work Deb!

I mean damn! Wow! Well that was a surprise ending if I’ve ever seen one! First dates are always the most awkward, and this one sure is up there with the rest of them! Love this! My favorite!
  • Happy Birthday, Julio

‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIO’ by COLE is one of those plays that make you think. Figuratively and literally…What happened to Julio? We may speculate, but may we never know… Thanks Deb for taking a little piece out of a life and absolutely “crushing” it with your writing! Amazing!

DONLEY has written 12:34 beautifully! The time of this piece is marvelous. From dramatic takes a bit comedic, this piece is wonderfully done! And the fact that it has a take from our own problems in America. Bravo!
  • A Godawful Small Affair
    4 Aug. 2022
Might I say, I am speechless. A GODAWFUL SMALL AFFAIR is just what the world needs. Is this play a dream? Is this real life? What is this life, I am living in? Hayley takes the Covid times and relives them in a piece that is so lively, it makes me feel like I am a BOWIE himself; just watching. Watching everything unfold. And the writing style...What the — it's simple and straightforward, yet gripping and mythical.
I aspire to be you. Prolific. Masterful. Perfection.

DONLEY does an amazing job here of creating many a character that have their own sense of self worth and loathing, Shadow plays a key role in each and every scene. The most provoking thing about this play is that, as performers we don't necessarily get to see who Shadow is in dialogue, but we can see how they are truly even without words. Each scene takes you into a different part of Shadows life and makes you feel immersed into the story being told. Bravo Ian!

I have not been recommending as much so it’s nice to get back in the swing of things. Deb Cole does a fabulous job as always of creating pieces that are peaceful and playful, yet almost meaningful. This piece is definitely festival worthy! Perfect three older women! Bravo!
