  • Jaxson Mackling: Y & Z

PLUMRIDGE’s radio drama “Y & Z” is piece of theatre that makes you think. Makes you want to know more, but leave you guessing til the very end - and still.

“Y & Z” begs the question, can you truly help someone over the phone, or is truly being in their presence, a better alternative? This piece is a horror story that will excite. It will thrill. It might even terrify, but one things for certain; it won’t disappoint. Perfection at its finest. Well done.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Not a Hallmark Christmas

COLE’s “Not A Hallmark Christmas” is one of those plays that will make you think, what is right and wrong in the world? What does it take someone just be nice to one another without having been upright or rude?

“Not a Hallmark Christmas” starts out just as you would expect, a lovely Christmas movie that is perfect for television…girl saves guy…until they truly don’t. A perfect example of what it means to be loved and appreciated during the holidays.
A lovely gift for any Theatre to unwrap. Well done.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Poor Paige

COLE’s ten-minute play “Poor Paige” is a seemingly dark two-hander that gives the seemingly REAL juxtapositions between what it means to have money and what it means to be “needy and poor”.

“Poor Paige” will truly resonate with the ones who need it, and may help others understand. A truly exceptional marvel. A piece that is perfect for any theatre to produce; for some, it might truly hit home. Bravo.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Ask Me

COLE’s monologue “Ask Me” is a sweet and touching moment in any teacher’s career. One that will brighten the lives of others.

A perfect monologue for a seasoned performer! Bravo.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Wheel of Fortune Reversed

SICKLES’ play “Wheel of Fortune Reversed” is a sweet glimpse into what could have happened if one meet with death in the real life. Almost as if someone was in purgatory before they are sent above or below.
Then you bring love into the mix which changes the main characters mindset as they are being lifted off into the oblivion, or what have you…

This piece is lovely. A well done juxtaposition of what it truly means to live and to die. Bravo. Go read this play. Go produce this play. Go do both. You won’t be disappointed!

  • Jaxson Mackling: A Modern Golem

“Horowitz’s monologue, “ A Modern Golem” is a symbol of failure in the most simplistic way. The way Golem has yet failed again to save the Jews is saddening, and yet even though he’s failed numerous, he still gets back up again, even if he’s scared to fall.

This monologue would be perfect for a seasoned actor; especially perfect for someone auditioning for plays of Jewish theme. Lovely. Provoking. Sacred.

    Well Done.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Changing Tides

Horowitz’s “Changing Tides” is sweet and heartwarming. It makes you think. It makes you feel. It makes you wonder. Though it also begs the question, “What if we did change, just for a day? What would happen to us?”

“Changing Tides” is piece of theatre that will leave the audience wondering and coming back for more. Brilliant.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Reincarnate

Horowitz’s “Reincarnate” is lovely play with great communication within past (and present) writers and playwrights. One might say that even though these characters are reincarnated from other playwrights, these characters might have just been other, other playwrights.

“Reincarnate” is masterful, prolific piece of art that any theatre would love to produce.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Toda /תודה (If Not Now)

Horowitz “TODA (If Not Now)” is a masterpiece, as all his plays are, but this one felt different. It felt special. The play will make you think. It will make you wonder. A perfect play for any two to sink their teeth into! Bravo!

  • Jaxson Mackling: Runaway Toys

Williams’ play “Runaway Toys” is a cute story that almost feels like a knock off version of ‘Toy Story’, almost as if from Andy’s little sister’s perspective. “Runaway Toys” is a marvelous piece that will keep kids (young and old) entertained, and I’m not just talking about the toys. Bravo! In the words of ‘GI Joe’…”Mission Accomplished Ma’am!”
