  • Jaxson Mackling: Chasing the Train

WILLIAMS’ short piece “Chasing The Train” is lovely look into what it means for a woman’s self esteem. She can be brought down by many things, and as Rachel’s play suggests; pretty much everything!

This fast paced play is a wonderful juxtaposition between how a girl wants to feel and truly how she NEEDS to. A beautiful story that will forever stand the test of time.

It’s honest, relatable, and true. It’s beautifully executed, prolific, and smashing well done!

  • Jaxson Mackling: I'm Gonna Need You to Log off for Me

PRILLAMAN’s short comedy, “I’m Gonna Need You To Log Off For Me” is interesting. Not the bad kind;…The GOOD kind. Mona Lisa now has two right thumbs and lobster for her left. I laughed wholeheartedly!

Not only is PRILLAMAN’s comedy hilariously good, it begs the question, “What is art? Could art be truly anything?” It will make you smile. It will make you feel something.
“I’m Gonna Need You To Log Off For Me” is a wonderful blended juxtaposition between art and technology. Produce it over and over.

I want to direct this. Well done!

  • Jaxson Mackling: But Why

WILLIAMS’ piece “But Why” is truly masterful. A beautiful juxtaposition between the thoughts of what should happen before a woman is forty.
This play will make you think. Make you want to fight. Make you want to take a side, yet feel for both characters.

I don’t say this very often, but “Read. Produce. Repeat.” A lovely piece that any theatre should get their hands on, and one that two females would sure love to play. Brilliant. Well written. Well done.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Sweet Sweet Christmas (a monologue)

SICKLES’ monologue, “Sweet, Sweet Christmas” is a heartfelt yet breaking tale of a woman who can’t have sugar due to diabetes. And she’s sad about it. Enraged.

“Sweet, Sweet Christmas” brings light to the heart of Christmas and the traditions that follow. Sickles does a wonderful job of taking characters and making them so believable you can see it, as if they’re right there. As if you are with them. A wonderful written monologue for any seasoned actress. Bravo.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Unbelievable

CARTHO short sci-fi piece, “Unbelievable” is a taste at what’s it like an apocalyptic universe. A lovely capture of two lovers holding onto each others every word.

“Unbelievable” is a piece of theatre that will make you think. Think about what might happen as LYNCH and LAURA lay together, in the dark. Alone.

A masterful work of DC Cartho that needs produced over and over again. Read. Produce. Repeat. Lovely.

  • Jaxson Mackling: The Gift

CURRY’s short piece, “The Gift” is precious. A true look into what is it to deal with horrible neighbors - so relatable. Yet the characters bring a lighthearted heaviness to the situation that makes us as readers want to truly feel for them.

A masterful portrayal of how it is possible to bring something so touching in everyday life. Read. Produce. Repeat. Well done!

  • Jaxson Mackling: Conduct

WARREN’s short piece “Conduct” is a marvelous on the idea of misogyny and how men view women, using music and culture as the forefront.

This piece is written in a way that will surely inspire many to think about what is truly important in society. This play needs to be performed over and over. Above all.

    Prolific. Masterful. Brilliantly, well done.

  • Jaxson Mackling: A BREAK

Smith’s A BREAK is one of the most gripping pieces I’ve read to date. As the log line read “…Their conversation is tense and uncertain.” It sure is. Uncomfortable even. There is so much happening in this little play that you begin to feel for both characters. This play will resonate with so many people. It is lovely.

Such an authentic and beautiful take on what happens when you meet an stranger. You truly never know what will happen.

Go read this play. Produce it. You won’t be disappointed. So well done.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Y & Z

PLUMRIDGE’s radio drama “Y & Z” is piece of theatre that makes you think. Makes you want to know more, but leave you guessing til the very end - and still.

“Y & Z” begs the question, can you truly help someone over the phone, or is truly being in their presence, a better alternative? This piece is a horror story that will excite. It will thrill. It might even terrify, but one things for certain; it won’t disappoint. Perfection at its finest. Well done.
