    Aww!

COLE’s short piece “Bedtime Story” is a sweet look at the world of ‘Chat GPT’ and what it means in the hands of children. A cute story of a father and son duo who conquer the world one question at a time; and for JASPER he already knows A Lot!

A beautifully written piece of art that definitely meets what it was intended for. A message from the heart. Watch out world, I have a feeling Debra is starting to become the master.
  • The Wrinkle Ranch (from the THE WRINKLE RANCH AND OTHER PLAYS ABOUT GROWING OLD collection)
    19 Feb. 2023
No wonder “The Wrinkle Ranch” has won awards, it’s immaculate! Totally hilarious! Just when you think that the ladies of Rancho Felicidad are playing scrabble in the afternoon, they are up to more fun than expected!

The perfect one act for an evening of plays! A lovely piece of art that will stand the test of time and hilarity for elderly folk.

Brilliant written. A show stopping play. Nearly perfection.
  • On The Surface Of Things
    11 Feb. 2023
ROSENBURG’s short “On The Surface Of Things” is a breathtaking and realistic look at how people with different disorders tend to cope with things, and what happens when that person realizes they’ve been caught or exposed.

A true marvel of a play. Perfect for production. Well done!
  • And They Lived. . . .
    11 Feb. 2023
Not to pull a Nick Bottom and say, “God I Hate Shakespeare” because I truly do, but LAWING’s short piece “And They Lived…” might have just changed it for me.

A short modern spin on a tale that will test time. The perfect addition to any competition or festival with theme “Old Tales” or “Renaissance”. Lovely. Masterful. Well written.
  • To Love Alone
    11 Feb. 2023
Omg…this play is a cuteness overload!

MARTINEAU’s short piece, “To Love Alone” is the perfect example of what it means to love someone even if it’s awkward. A piece that will truly pull at your heartstrings. The lovely addition to any Valentine’s Day (play) celebration.

Masterful. Well written. A romance to die for.
  • The Acting Class
    11 Feb. 2023
John N Frank’s short piece “The Acting Class” is a sweet and passionate look into togetherness, and what it means to be apart of something even when you come from all walks of life…Shakespeare to American English.

A powerful, beautiful, and inspiring story that is sure to never fizzle out of production repertoires! Well written!
  • ICE IS NICE
    3 Feb. 2023
LERMOND’s one minute play is truly something that will warm you like a hot cup of cocoa. A well-written love story for two young actors! Perfect for competition.
  • LOVE AIN'T
    3 Feb. 2023
LERMOND’s short monologue is a hard look into what it truly means to be a woman in all aspects of life, and how life isn’t just about a four-letter-word.

Rich dialogue meets cold hard truth. A real eye opener and will definitely get land you casted. I could see this for someone auditioning for “Our Town”.

Well done is an understatement. Excellence.
  • Retail Therapy
    28 Jan. 2023
“Retail Therapy” by HAMBLEY is a sweet look into what it means to be working in retail, living paycheck to paycheck, and nearly getting fired due to the factors of just being a person…

This piece is truly authentic. It feels like everyday. It seems to me like the playwright truly lived their life as a retail associate at one time. It’s breathtaking.

“Retail Therapy” is masterful and should be produced over and over until it becomes irrelevant, which to the plays extent, I don’t think it ever will.

That’s how amazing it is. Produce and repeat!

PLUMRIDGE's long titled short is a hoot! There were times where I laughed, and there were times where I thought...uh okay, but laughed right after. A hilariously funny short about where people have 'done their worst' and what happens to them when doing so. For Janet and Malcolm however, a cuddle and another cup of cocoa might 'service' them instead. A wonderfully written piece for any theatre! Well done!
