  • Lou Jones: 12 Degrees (a one-minute play)

Well this is a lovely, quirky little play. Would love to see it performed in a 1 minute play festival. Very imaginative and the costumes description made me laugh.

  • Lou Jones: The Pity Mourner (Ten Minute)

Enjoyed reading this, if you can 'enjoy' a funeral scene. I love how Paul has thought up this setting for 2 strangers to meet. A lot is left unsaid which adds to the emotion. It stands alone well as a 10 min play, but I could also see it as the first scene of a longer story, wondering how it would unfold.

  • Lou Jones: Grammatically Speaking (15 minutes)

This caught my eye as I'm a former secondary school English teacher. I love how 2 characters that would never normally mix in the same circles have come together and have a meaningful conversation. A good read and I enjoyed the audio production on YouTube which brought it to life. Thank you.

  • Lou Jones: Tax Preparation for Dogs (3 short plays about the hard-of-hearing)

If you're looking for something short and quirky, this is a treat. How did John Busser dream this up. Fab!

  • Lou Jones: Heaven and Hell AGM

I was browsing short plays and came across this 10 minute comedy. What an original idea. Thanks for the laughs Rachel.

  • Lou Jones: Velcro Wallets and Pictionary

This is the first play I've read on NPX so thank you Tyler for this story. Through the humour you still managed to show the hurt. The characters' banter, one liners and passive aggressivity kept me hooked. I'm still smiling to myself about some of those lines.
