  • Lou Jones: Young Beholders

An interesting take on the prompt Beauty, through the eyes of teen boys. How did the playwright get inside their brains? Well done.

  • Lou Jones: ROOTS

Oh this is beautiful. I love a good Haiku and this had some good ones but it also told a human story of frustration, worrying about the future and then at the end, hope. Loved it.

  • Lou Jones: AMAN AHMADI, NEW AMERICAN: A MONOLOGUE

This was interesting, unusual in its format and a great, moving monologue. Very touching. Loved it.

  • Lou Jones: MY WAY a 3 minute monologue

I really like this monologue as I can picture everything that's happening around him without him directly saying it. Very inspiring and clever writing. Bravo.

  • Lou Jones: Letting Them Be

This is a heartwarming monologue showing a parent doesn't need to understand to accept. He also talks about getting things wrong which is a lesson to us all to show ourselves grace when we're just doing the best we can. Nice one Christopher Soucy.

  • Lou Jones: Parenting is tough...fur real!

This is cute. A mum at her wits end with sibling rivalry but trying to be calm and reassuring that both siblings have a place in the family. Love the twist.

  • Lou Jones: It'll All Work Out

Loved this 1 minute play. How did Julie Brandon think this up? Seems sibling rivalry started early with these two babies. We also have the touching sentiments too about the one who sings to them. So much in 1 minute. Well done.

  • Lou Jones: One Thing in Common

This is a nice little play about an encounter between 2 strangers. I like the fact that even to the last line they were trying to get one up on each other. Popping back in to address the audience was a nice touch too.

  • Lou Jones: Parental Sacrifice

Loved this so much and had a big smile on my face reading it. I love dark humour and this was just my kind of short play. Highly recommended.

  • Lou Jones: Mama Anya: A Ten-Minute Play

Such a sweet interaction between two opposites. Ryan wrote great believable characters, so much so that I'd love to have Mama Anya as my friend.
