  • Jeffrey James Keyes: Theresa's Breasts

This is a wonderfully imaginative play. I'm really struck by this nuanced and complicated love story. I appreciated Palmer's creativity and carefully drawn dialogue and clever interpretation of a classic. Well done!

  • Jeffrey James Keyes: What we need at the end of the day…

Wow, this is a strong gut punch and an important play that a lot of people can related to. I love Brian's mastery of dialogue and clear, straightforward storytelling. This meditation on dying and grief is powerful and very real. Thank you for your words and this play, Brian. Great work.

  • Jeffrey James Keyes: 2 Bdrm 1 Bath

This is such a fun (and funny!) short, I really loved how the story progressed and the all too familiar journey you brought us on. The characters are an absolute treat. I’d love to see this on its feet. I think this piece could work as a short film as well as a strong comedic stage play. Excellent work.

  • Jeffrey James Keyes: I Have No Words

I came across this remarkable monologue this evening and found it completely engrossing. Thank you for assembling this first hand account of a citizen of Ukraine at this tumultuous time. I would love to see this onstage. I really appreciate you putting this together & getting Martha’s story out there. Excellent work.

  • Jeffrey James Keyes: Gift of the Matt-Guy

Gift of the Matt-Guy is a well crafted Christmas short with some really fun surprises & curve balls. I was chuckling while reading this zany riff on some popular holiday themes.

  • Jeffrey James Keyes: Taking the A Train, a 10-minute play

A different kind of "strangers on a train," Middaugh's suspenseful drama grabs and rattles you right to the core. Strong writing, well drawn characters, and a clean, tragic plot. Well done.

  • Jeffrey James Keyes: Paper Planes

Wow! This play is excellent. I love the tone and structure of the story. It grabbed me from the start and Michael’s plot really surprised me. I love his way of crafting a story and feel as if these characters are fully human. This short play feels like a whole evening. I look forward to more of your exquisite writing.

  • Jeffrey James Keyes: Where the Fireworks Come From

I love this play, it really captures the energy, spirit (and butterflies) of what it feels like to be Queer at a certain age. Excellent dialogue, and wonderful storytelling. Thank you, Michael!

  • Jeffrey James Keyes: STUFFED

I loved being a fly on the walk for Young’s ten-minute dramedy. The characters are complex and interesting and their situation is engrossing. Nicely done!

  • Jeffrey James Keyes: Flooding; a ten-minute play

This is such a lovely play, I really enjoyed it. The characters are so well drawn and their dialogue & banter is smartly crafted and really fun to read. This would be a really excellent addition to a lineup of 10-mn plays, I’d love to see it up on its feet!
