This play is powerful. Gut-wrenching. Thought provoking. Lead by powerhouses of female characters any actress would love to play. Alisha Espinosa takes a very real problem in contemporary society and spins a tale that is unforgettable!

I had the pleasure of seeing this live at the Hive Collaborative in Utah. So sweet, so relatable, so very poignant and now on my list of Favorite Shorts!!!! Well done, Donna!!!!
  • The Inexplicable Chaos Factor of Mia Gregory
    30 Oct. 2019
I love Emily Hageman. So much! This one act is beautiful and such an important look at Mental Health. I felt for both Mia and Liv--no, that's a lie, I *related* to Mia and Liv. These girls are experiencing things that we all do and it's so raw and so real that it needs to be seen on the stage. Like now.
  • VULTURE GIRL: A HALLOWEEN MONOLOGUE
    30 Oct. 2019
New favorite monologue! This girl is fierce and fiery and independent. She knows what she wants and is as stubborn as delightful. Such a wonderful read!

I had the opportunity to see the reading at An Other Theatre Company and have read it four times and will be buying tickets to the premiere because I love this script that much! Both women are relatable and juicy powerhouses that actresses would love to sink their teeth into. The story is powerful, visceral, and gut-wrenching. Well done!

This gave me a giggle cause I've been to enough weddings with all of these people. And the payoff at the end is magnificent!
  • Black Hollow
    15 Oct. 2019
Whoa. Black Hollow is incredible--one of the most human treatments of a relevant hot button and potentially controversial subject I've read in a long time. A juicy plot full of very human characters that make you think, make you feel, and never lets you go.
  • Call Your Mother: A Short Play, in Voicemails
    14 Aug. 2019
Annie C Wright uses a highly original approach that tugs at the heartstrings. How is it possible that a short play could pack this much punch?
  • THE WORLD'S WORST THEATERGOER: THE WORLD'S WORST MONOLOGUE
    13 Aug. 2019
Recently, I went to the theatre with this person. Asher is a master of the monologue and this hilarious piece is now on my list of favorites. Who needs a pre-show announcement when you could do *this*?
  • Into The River I Went
    12 Aug. 2019
I will never get tired of reading Nelson Diaz-Marcano's work! Once again a necessary beautiful story that tackles some of the very real problems in our society(race, gender, culture, rape), and the very real ways that people react when encountering these problems, and had me thinking about my own personal philosophy; and the pay-off is one of the best I've read in a very long time. This play is a must add to any theatre season. Read this. Re-read it. Think about it. Never stop thinking about it. Produce it. Keep on producing it.
