  • Chelsea Frandsen: VULTURE GIRL: A HALLOWEEN MONOLOGUE

New favorite monologue! This girl is fierce and fiery and independent. She knows what she wants and is as stubborn as delightful. Such a wonderful read!

  • Chelsea Frandsen: SAFE

I had the opportunity to see the reading at An Other Theatre Company and have read it four times and will be buying tickets to the premiere because I love this script that much! Both women are relatable and juicy powerhouses that actresses would love to sink their teeth into. The story is powerful, visceral, and gut-wrenching. Well done!

  • Chelsea Frandsen: Cold Feet

This gave me a giggle cause I've been to enough weddings with all of these people. And the payoff at the end is magnificent!

  • Chelsea Frandsen: Black Hollow

Whoa. Black Hollow is incredible--one of the most human treatments of a relevant hot button and potentially controversial subject I've read in a long time. A juicy plot full of very human characters that make you think, make you feel, and never lets you go.

  • Chelsea Frandsen: THE WORLD'S WORST THEATERGOER: THE WORLD'S WORST MONOLOGUE

Recently, I went to the theatre with this person. Asher is a master of the monologue and this hilarious piece is now on my list of favorites. Who needs a pre-show announcement when you could do *this*?

  • Chelsea Frandsen: Into The River I Went

I will never get tired of reading Nelson Diaz-Marcano's work! Once again a necessary beautiful story that tackles some of the very real problems in our society(race, gender, culture, rape), and the very real ways that people react when encountering these problems, and had me thinking about my own personal philosophy; and the pay-off is one of the best I've read in a very long time. This play is a must add to any theatre season. Read this. Re-read it. Think about it. Never stop thinking about it. Produce it. Keep on producing it.

  • Chelsea Frandsen: Dark King Kills Unicorn

I love everything Reina writes! Once again she delivers a fun and whip-smart fantasy sure to delight any group of actors and the audience!

  • Chelsea Frandsen: Breaking the Shakespeare Code

What's amazing about this play is that it's not just about delving into thespian text; it's about delving into what makes us vulnerable and human. Minigan has a gift for creating character-driven stories. These characters are so beautifully and naturally drawn and the emotions are so raw at times that it had me riveted! If you're a fan of the bard, or were ever a "theatre kid" then this play is perfect for you!

  • Chelsea Frandsen: Homecoming '92

This story keeps you interested from page one, then takes you on an unexpected emotional roller-coaster with stakes and characters that anyone will be able to identify with. Well crafted and surprisingly poignant.
