Poignant, funny, and full of heart and love, Philip Middleton Williams' "All Together" series has been on my list of favorite plays for a while, and this concluding play is a fantastic end to the series. It was so nice to see Adam, Fox, Paul, and Dorothy(someone I'd like to portray when I'm old enough--she's that brilliant) again and P.J. and Will were welcome additions to this quirky awesome family. Warmed my heart and a play series that should be produced often.

I love prequels and sequels and reinterpretations of classic literature, and this play is no exception. Emma Wood crafts a witty and delightful prequel that would make Jane Austen and fellow Jane-ites proud. Following the courtship of James and Emily Bennett and glimpsing why the couple turns out the way they do is fun and a story I would love to see on it's feet!

Two beautiful female roles with a complicated and dynamic relationship is only one of the many things I love about this short play. Cody Goulder manages to keep me riveted the entire time. Well done!

Yay! One of my favorite quirky families is back and better than ever! Phillip Middleton Williams keeps all his characters as fresh as they were before--just as open and honest and vulnerable and delightfully dysfunctional. Fox is still one of my favorite characters and Nancy is a welcome addition. I'm looking forward to reading part three!

Philip Middleton Williams is a name that belongs in the same breath as August Wilson, Tracy Letts, Tennessee Williams, Neil Simon, Lillian Hellman, Tony Kushner and Susan Lori-Parks(and that's just the short version of the long list). Williams has a gift for creating relatable characters to root for and fall in love while thoughtfully exploring what family means. Loved every page and hope to see it produced again soon!

Oh my heart! Never have I read such a three hander so quickly and enjoyed the reading so much. Andrea Carey knows how to tug at the heart strings. I laughed and I cried with this powerhouse cast in this honest look at dealing with the pitfalls that life deals us. This is a play that should be produced, and produced often.

I've always had a lot of admiration for any playwright who can write good dark comedy, and Madden is no exception. Adriana is a fantastic powerhouse of a female and this script is hysterical!

A fun look at the difficulties of dating seen through the eyes of a famous gorgon. Medusa is hysterically innocent and the twist of the ending was perfect. A good play for festivals of shorts and a very enjoyable read!

I've always known Diaz-Marcano has a gift for storytelling, and this play is no exception. Everything about this show is raw and real and thought-provoking, exploring contemporary topics--colorism, grief, homophobia, and racial and cultural identity--through seemingly benign conversations and stunning magical realism that breaks my heart and gives me hope all at the same time. The dialogue is beautifully layered and each interaction between the characters sizzles with subtext and nuance. I really hope to see this produced one day.

This short play has a delightful "Twilight Zone"-esque feel. And the twist is one I didn't see coming. A wonderful offering for play festivals.
