Oh my wow. I got chills. Serious chills! As of now, Aurin Squire's "Zoohouse" is my Favorite New Plays List. This play will spark necessary conversations whether you are involved onstage or as part of the audience. "Zoohouse" asks important questions about our current state as a society without being too heavy-handed, the dark humor is brilliantly placed--there were times when I got some serious "Suicide Squad" vibes. Definitely a play that should be produced and produced often. Can't recommend enough!

This was so fun! Amazing interactions between people without any dialogue that kept my interest and would be a blast for actors and director alike.

As always, Diaz-Marcano delivers a powerful and truly poetic piece. Leslie is a truly unique and fantastic protagonist who makes me smile. Well worth a read and definitely should be seen onstage.

  • THE HUNTER & THE HUNTED
    7 Apr. 2021
Tautly written and intense from the beginning, this is a revenge tale with hints of black comedy and plot that moves at breakneck speed. Each character is so human and authentic that we don't feel compelled to "take sides", but rather empathize with each of them even as we recoil at the unfolding of events. Overall, this play makes for a thrilling ride.

  • Seneca and the Soul of Nero (Full-length play)
    4 Apr. 2021
History plays are a weakness of mine, and I'm so happy to have discovered this one! Both Nero and Senica are beautifully authentic and the relationship between them is one actors would love to dive into. The play is full of fantastic roles for both actors and actresses and is perfect for college, professional or festival productions. Thank you Marcia Eppich-Harris for reminding me why I love Roman history so much!
  • But What Am I?

This devastating and beautiful play about coming to terms with identity and the mistakes of a loved one is one of the most heartfelt and authentic I've read in a long time. Venecia Coleman is one to watch.
