A play of raw and deep reflection. Caridad's work here is simple but in your face, a snap shot of an America we all are cautious about.

I just caught a reading of this play, and holy,,,! This is a fast paced, often hilarious, always exciting exploration of America today through the eyes of the generation growing after 9/11. Alexis has created something unique here, and if you have a chance to read/ see it, you need to.

A powerful study about the importance of family in latinx culture and the rift that individualism creates within it. It is a painful but often hopeful story with an ending that will leave a bittersweet taste in your mouth while you question your own choices in life.

This play made me smile. Smile like not many pieces of entertainment does. Smiles like when I was a kid and it was Christmas day. I'm not kidding! i could say more, or put more eloquent words together, but I think you should you just experience it without much knowledge of it. It's pure joy!
  • REBELS TIL DEATH

This play explores the pain we carry and the burden we are left with in such a raw and bold way that it can only be a Femia play. These characters speak our languages till they can't. Till the exposition kills the laughter, till we are left with only real life to deal with. What do you do when your rebellion is born out wanting to be seen? Put this one as another great work by this writer.

A great study about the relationship between sexuality and religion within LGBTQ members. Quintana has created a timely work which give us strong representations and touches on topics that need to be discussed. I was lucky to see a production of this play, and I can't wait for Quintana's next work.

What a terrifyingly funny play! Weaver has a knack to play with our emotions in the most hilarious ways possible. I know a couple of people that would have nightmares after seeing this piece!

This play felt like a smooth jazz song that helps you reflect about life while taking you away with its composition. An easy yet powerful short play.
  • INCREDIBLY CUTE

What a delightful idea! In Carnes hands, this idea takes form and becomes a fantastic satire that forces us to imagine a word in where devices are alive. The same way we seen plays take the POV of animals, or certain tools, "Incredibly Cute" gives life to our computers and explores the knowledge they have of us. By doing this Carnes can study the character further and gives us a more private glimpse of his life, without the human actually speaking. A great insight on how much we leave of ourselves in our technology.
