What a fantastic journey this is! Georgina Escobar approach to the story of how Linares came up with the gorgeous idea for the Alebrijes is a dynamic and stunning piece of theater. The kind of theater that educate and entertains, both children and adults alike. Amazing!

Matthew Weaver is a national treasure. Only he could make a perfect blend of Hitchcock and Simon, and still make it feel his own. This could easily be a comedy, this could easily be a thriller. That's the director's job to figure out, Weaver already gave them the template.

This play ripped me apart. It's simple, it's magical, it's in your face and poignant. Hageman is a talented writer, one that in 10 minutes manages to show us innocence and feel complete loss without skipping a beat. Be close to someone you love, once you read this, you will ned a hug.

This is a fun romance! I had a great time spending it with these characters and seeing where the play was going. These are our friends and we get to see some of their personal life. That's how real it felt. Great job!

This play hits home hard for me. The way Juan spotlights the personal relationships through tragedy and let the hurricane winds roar within the script is painful. The hope that is gained through it its deserved, but the second to last scene will leave you shaking.

What a crazy and gorgeous ride does Diana takes us here. Fully realized characters in a world that is both fascinating and terrifying, this play feels like a good rock song, but it hits you like a punk mosh-pit.
  • A Shero's Journey or What Anacaona and Yemayá Taught Me...

This is such an incredible piece. I was touched by its rawness and the pure beauty that accompanies it. A coming of age story that dives deep into the inherent racism created by colonization. A story about loving one self while finding out your true colors. Guadalís Del Carmen has an important play in Shero, one that needs to be seen. One that every Afro Latinx, African American or minority needs to see. One that could teach a lot of folks something. This is an important play.

Partain has in this play the equivalent of a nice breeze on a hot summer day. Quick, it got my attention, it made me feel better, and when done, I wish there was more.

Noah Diaz has created a beautiful story about family in a story book style that manages to feel both unique yet comfortably familiar. A study of loss and its consequences, Diaz treats these characters with so much love that you can't help but be engaged by them. To fall for them and their eccentricities. Hope to see it produced soon!

It is easy to see why so many of us respect Rachael's work. She can go from the extremely serious "Partner Of--" to the completely absurd in this play without missing a beat and still have a poignant message. I was laughing but at the same time, I was admiring the approach and more importantly I was concerned about both characters. By the end, I was so invested I wanted to know what would happen to both after the play ended.
