  • A Lot A Lot (one-minute play)
    5 Jan. 2021
This is something very sweet about watching a people enjoy one another and this is exactly what this play is: a moment of watching two people really enjoy each other (a lot, a lot). A fun 1-minute play and great for exploring a moment of intimacy!
  • I Don't Want To End Up As A Douchebag Character In One Of Your Plays: A Play
    1 Jan. 2021
When Kate McMorran Says it's all int the title, she means it! I DON'T WANT TO END UP AS A DOUCHEBAG CHARACTER IN ONE OF YOUR PLAYS: A PLAY is immensely satisfying in it's simple elegance.

I saw this play published in Molecule - A Tiny Lit Mag, and it absolutely brought a smile to my face.
  • Of Garden Gnomes and Other Tragedies
    27 Dec. 2020
This play includes a discussion of how to have sex after you partner is transformed into a ceramic garden gnome!

Yep, it goes there! And so much more.

This mixture of the mundane and the magical is full of whimsy and ridiculousness. It is an absolute delight!

Don't miss OF GARDEN GNOMES AND OTHER TRAGEDIES!
  • Elbows
    23 Dec. 2020
ELBOWS is a beautiful 10-minute play with 4 fantastic parts. It is a play about trying too hard to impress and the difficulties of coming to terms with dashed hopes. Emily McClain ties up the drama in a comedic packaging and razor sharp wit. The effect is a brutal portrait of suburban life.
  • Under Multicolored Lights
    22 Dec. 2020
UNDER MULTICOLORED LIGHTS is a heart-wrenching family drama. From the shocking opening visual moment to the heartbreaking final plea, this 10-minute play is so moving. These are flawed and very human characters fighting for family and love and trying to hold onto what they have left. It is rare that a 10-minute play brings tears to my eyes, but DC Cathro has done just that with this play!
  • A RESERVATION
    15 Dec. 2020
A RESERVATION is a delightful 10-minute play. This play has a fantastic pace and strong comedy throughout. The ridiculousness of needing a reservation for a bathroom is only surpassed by the revelation at the end!

This would be a delightful addition to any evening of 10-minute plays.
  • Miracle on Nevada State Route 375 [a 1-minute play]
    15 Dec. 2020
MIRACLE ON NEVADA STATE ROUTE 375 is a beautiful reminder that marriage is complicated. Sometimes our partners can be annoying, or mean, or thoughtful, or caring. Gale and Simone couldn't have drifted further apart at the beginning of this play, but a Miracle changes all of that. This is a beautiful play, funny at times, heartbreaking at others. But full of the magic of human experience!

    BRAVO, Steve!
  • In Flight: a comedy in verse
    13 Dec. 2020
IN FLIGHT is a delightful romp through the world of airline publications! The verse and rhyming couplets reinforces the fast pace of the plot. With intrigue and deception, this comedy packs a punch!

I found myself reading parts out loud so that I could enjoy the word play that Jenny Lyn Bader weaves throughout the play. It is absolutely delightful.

  • Every Glorious Second of Every Fucking Day
    8 Dec. 2020
    Whoa!

EVERY GLORIOUS SECOND OF EVERY FUCKING DAY is a wild ride of a script! I loved it... but does that mean I would kill for it? Read this play and find out! This is a gloriously unsettling play!

I saw From the Couch Theatre's zoom production and it is a fantastic piece for zoom! Reading through the script, I would also love to see it on a stage!

    I highly recommend!
  • Black, White, & Red All Over
    8 Dec. 2020
BLACK, WHITE, & RED ALL OVER is the perfect play about life in the time of COVID-19. It is also an ideal play for Zoom. I had the opportunity to see From the Couch Theatre's Zoom production, and it worked great! It is so fun and adorable and wonderfully awkward!

Daniel Prillaman has truly given us a gift with this play!

    Read it! Produce it!

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
