I fell in love with Terrence and Ling-Ling in Daniel Prillaman's BLACK, WHITE, & RED ALL OVER. So I was ecstatic to find that they are back at it again in FIELD TRIP. And they have friends! Inspired by stories of actual animals going on adventures amid this pandemic, these plays are absolutely adorable and is guaranteed to brighten any mood!

I did not expect this play to get to me like it did! It's fun. It's innovative. It's a stunning metaphor for life! Mark Harvey Levine does a stellar job capturing the twists and turns of growing up.

I have had several people recommend this play to me and I'm glad it final made it up my list. Because this play is an absolute treat.

CABFARE FOR THE COMMON MAN is a fast-pace journey through life that invites us to slow down and enjoy the journey.

This gorgeous play tackles the anxieties of playwriting, the friendships of playwrights, and tenderness of affirmation. Sometimes a friend just needs to put on a fake mustache and offer to fight you in order to make things okay, and after reading this, I believe Matthew Weaver would do just that. MATTHEW WEAVER AND TRISTAN CANFIELD ARE IN A TERRIBLE PLAY stands proudly among the many Matthew Weaver plays. This was such a delightful and affirming way to start my day! Thank you, Matthew, for being a friend! And Thank you, Tristan, for writing this heartwarming play!

A REPORT ON ANCIENT EGYPT is ADORABLE! Mark Harvey Levine combines the Pandemic, Zoom, and Ancient Egypt in this middle school presentation, in a way that is absolutely charming. As I read through this short play, I could feel all that was unsaid, and all the hopes for the future that emanate from this script... or maybe it was Aliens.

Well done Mark!

This is the Biggest, Baddest, Bestest - the nightmare-maker - 10-minute play written by the Meanest, Maddest, Most awesomest playwright Steven G. Martin!

THE BADDEST KID ON EMERSON is terrifying and holds up alongside the most horrific moments of stage violence. This is a departure from the majority of Steve's work, and that makes it all the more unsettling. Kids can be cruel, and this play leans into that.

Reading this play is like watching a car crash in slowmotion and being unable to look away! It has great moments of violence, a treat for any choreographer! Bravo! Highly Recommended.

This is something very sweet about watching a people enjoy one another and this is exactly what this play is: a moment of watching two people really enjoy each other (a lot, a lot). A fun 1-minute play and great for exploring a moment of intimacy!

ELBOWS is a beautiful 10-minute play with 4 fantastic parts. It is a play about trying too hard to impress and the difficulties of coming to terms with dashed hopes. Emily McClain ties up the drama in a comedic packaging and razor sharp wit. The effect is a brutal portrait of suburban life.
