  • Triptych on Divining
    30 Nov. 2020
This trio of 1-minute plays each knock out pieces on their own, but together they create a kaleidoscope of human experiences! TRIPTYCH ON DIVINING gives us three different approaches to what might be! Emily McClain says so much in these three short pieces. Give this a read, and then go and read her other Triptychs as well!
  • Ashleigh Says Out Loud the Thing She Meant to Say in Her Head
    30 Nov. 2020
ASHLEIGH SAYS OUT LOUD THE THING SHE MEANT TO SAY IN HER HEAD is such a satisfying 1-minute play! The title sets the scene perfectly, and Daniel Prillaman gives it a delightful touch of horror. Do yourself a favor and check this play out for yourself!
  • Gratitude 4
    30 Nov. 2020
GRATITUDE 4 is a still-life of sorts. It paints a vivid picture of loss and struggle for survival, and then finally, gratitude. Daniel Prillaman has created a moment that is break taking.

I was part of a reading of one-minute plays where this was read, and it took our collective breaths away.

This is a one-minute play that will live on the readers/observers mind for much longer.

    Produce this play!
  • A Short Visual Aid of Life in America During the Year of Our Lord, 2020
    30 Nov. 2020
This year has been A YEAR! And Daniel Prillaman has captured it perfectly here, complete with off the wall commentary. A SHORT VISUAL AID OF LIFE IN AMERICA DURING THE YEAR OF OUR LORD, 2020 is too good! Absolutely, a must read!
  • I'm Not Okay (short)
    11 Nov. 2020
God! This play is Laugh Out Loud good and yet lump in the pit of your stomach terrifying.

That's because Olivia Matthews brings a very real monster (student loans) to life in this short play! I'M NOT OKAY confronts the anxiety of student loans with MCR lyrics! Absolutely fantastic! And this script is so versatile that it works on stage or on Zoom.

    Read! Produce!

    Highly Recommended!
  • THE SPRINGVALE ARMADILLO
    7 Nov. 2020
THE SPRINGVALE ARMADILLO is a haunting tale told through visceral dreams and intimate flashbacks, while always bringing it back to the immediate needs of the present. Donald Loftus uses the religious fears of Leprosy in the early 20th century to explore the stigma of HIV/AIDS in the 1980s. Putting this story into the further context of the current pandemic draws into sharp focus the isolation and fear that plays out in the story.

I had the honor of seeing a reading of this play over zoom, and the emotion in the language was palpable!
    Highly Recommended! So well done!
  • I Heart Eating Brains
    1 Nov. 2020
I HEART EATING BRAINS is a great part of the Zombie-Vampire-Werebeast-Monster-Ghost genre! Emily McClain creates a fun Halloween show that is sure to clear um any misconceptions you had about the undead. An absolutely great script for Actors and Designers to sink their teeth into!
  • The Olfactory Soul
    1 Nov. 2020
THE OLFACTORY SOUL has a classic creepiness to it with some very modern twists! Scott Sickles gives us a curse, a bewitching enchantment, and one hell of an ethical debate! A very visual, sensual, and scented play. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
  • Goldfish
    1 Nov. 2020
An absolute MUST READ! DC Cathro takes us on a wild ride of subtle twists and turns. GOLDFISH is funny and uncomfortable and shocking. It is a delightful how disturbing this play is! Check it out!
  • Barbarian
    1 Nov. 2020
BARBARIAN will challenge your expectations, just as much as it challenges the faith of its characters. Daniel Prillaman creates and atmospheric and unsettling play about viking invaders and religion. What can be done when everything you believe is being tested?

Such a fun play! I want so badly to see this staged!
