  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Just Desserts

Just Desserts is an award-winning play for all the best reasons! It has great dialogue, wonderful characters who make great discoveries together, a super setting (easy to produce)! It moves ferociously toward an unexpected ending that is so thrilling and inevitable in retrospect, you should read it right now! And I hope it gets produced a lot! Ten Minute Plays are SO DELICIOUS, and this one is worth enjoying!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Late-Walking Through the Realm

A beautiful dream of a play with language that is as sumptuous and agile as these two men who, though they've known each other for a long time, finally get down to the truth of their relationship. Tillotson is a true romantic at heart and a linguist who can spar with the best of them. Highly theatrical!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: He Misses

Vermillion covers so much ground in this, and while yes, most of it is covered in pee, it's wonderful! Always nice to find other playwrights whose aesthetic is so similar to my own! This play addresses a slew of canonical pissing plays that truly need revision. I am happy to recommend HE MISSES as a hilarious comic romp to fuel discussion and awareness and potentially change! Please read and produce often!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Evolve

Evolve is a brilliantly theatrical story about the frustration and anger women feel at the treatment we receive daily by men everywhere. I hope every man reads it. I hope every theatre produces it. Because we have all waited too long for this evolution that needs to happen. And as [not giving it away] evolves to be able to bring men to justice, men must also evolve. Beautiful work!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: The Mouse: A Callback

A thrilling play that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. This is such a great role for a woman, and it's a very easily produced play. Real time, single set, 3 actors, all dealing with very real stuff while playing with Hamlet in such a great way - I love the paraphrasing and the acting, the very idea of a call back and the power dynamics! Such high stakes! And such real fuckery! Wonderfully done!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Stupid, Fat, Ugly

There is so much sadness in this play, I found it upsetting in a good way. Osmundsen puts his characters in terribly precarious situations, and the characters are so flawed, they can be hard to like, but they are suffering so much, I found myself really invested in their outcomes. It's like an accident you drive by -- hard to look away. People are so vulnerable in this play.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Wild Horses

An inspiring story. Very visual and I love the humor of it. This is a tremendous role for an actor! And so theatrical. It really moves. And the sense of that family coming apart at the seams is so strong as The Girl lives so close to the edge, reminds me of my own early adolescence, how narrow the escapes were. Well done!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Miracle and Her Minion

A wonderful play for younger actors that is theatrical and feels very real in terms of those early developments that are such roller coasters to have to live through! Filled with events that keep us guessing and a most elusive longing!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: A BUMP IN THE NIGHT ( a 10 minute mystery)

Here's a twisted Halloween play that thrills in more ways than one. The layers O'Neill-Butler puts into this make it so theatrical and so unexpected. I am completely impressed!
