Theatre is at its best when it shows us how transformation can transform us and this does exactly that in a beautiful love story with more twists than a 60s dance club! What a well-conceived theatrical short! I'd love to see it onstage!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: BLACK HOLE!!! A One-Minute Play for Kids

I don't want to ruin it for anyone so I won't say what happens in this Hilarious High Stakes Tragicomedy but I am happy to recommend this to EVERYONE - young and old alike! Both for and against cellphones; both for and against science, I could go on, but the recommendation shouldn't be longer than the play itself, right? But I have to say I actually laughed. Thank you Asher Wyndham!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: I Deflagrate, a Monologue

OH this is so wonderful that Boyle has captured this moment, the moment when you screw up because it's better to screw up than to be right! The longing an 8th Grader has to belong! I never knew any Chemistry answers but I've certainly thrown myself under the bus enough in other subjects to completely relate! This is such a great monologue for students!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: A Zillion Kinds of Kisses

Matthew Weaver is on top of his game with A Zillion Kinds of Kisses. It is emblematic of his strength as a dramatist and quintessential Weaver which means this is charming and full of the warmth and love that I expect from a Matthew Weaver play. And he runs with it here - this is not a one-minute play - this is a symphonic variation of kisses! Kudos for all these kisses because they are necessary and beautiful!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: HOMERIDAE

A magically theatrical and linguistically marvelous play! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment for its truth about academia and its relevance. Thrilling - I hope it will be produced soon and often!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: How To Destroy An American Girl Doll

What we put into our bodies, what we allow and what we reject - this play is a coming of age American tale - a ten year odyssey. I love that it centers female experience. I love that it feels fresh and real. It should be produced often!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Are You Comfortable?

I love the last line of this intense and terrifying piece that MUST BE HEARD! That line - and the title - point to our complacency because we are way too comfortable already, many of us, because we are not in this position. Yet.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Screen Play

EXCELLENT work - this play doesn't mess around. Nothing extra here. Only what's necessary to tell this particular story happening all over the country for the past year or so. I'm so glad Hansen is writing this because if I write this, I'm labelled for it. And I'm so grateful this play exists! I love how HE (the character) doesn't get it at first (because he didn't get it back then either, never even wondered about it), and I grin ear to ear at the end of this play for the hope it gives.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: WHITE HISTORY

THIS should be produced somewhere already and again and tomorrow and today I should be able to go and see this and tell my friends and family and everyone, go see this play! What is up with the theatres in this country? How is it possible not to do this play? WHY? If theatres don't think this is a play to be produced - not just read and "developed"- then maybe there is something seriously wrong with what it means to be a theatre in this country.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Independence Day: A New Play to Pay Old Debt

Here is a finely-wrought, wonderfully theatrical and hilarious adaptation that reinvigorates Centlivre's A Bold Stroke for a Wife with gender-swapping and female agency all over the place! This would be so much fun to play! Every role is a plum! And Tillotson's language is delicious and playful, poignant and highly quotable! Productions Please!
