A marvelously funny piece that I had to read because I liked HUM so much, and I'm so glad I read this! Why are we here? What is this universe and is it meaningful to measure it? Are you an Ingrid or a Sonja? I know who I am, or do I now?

I love this play! As a metaphor for the unconscious ways that we live and how hard it is to awake from them, yes! This play challenges its audience to think outside the dinosaur - it fights fascism and has moments of such perfect beauty I am jealous of it! Are you a Listener? When your deity is killed, do you replace it with your desperation to have a deity?

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Women Playing Hamlet (Published Comedy)

This is hilarious! And I love that it's all done on a bare stage with the regular breaking of the 4th wall, and I love that all the men are played by women for revenge - as stated in the script! When I say things like that people ask me if I hate men, but Downs is a man, so he gets to say that without worry, and I truly appreciate it! Jessica is a fantastic character! Brilliant work!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: or what she will

A beautiful harrowing haunting stunning poetic play that gives and gives and gives until audiences will just have to start to understand, and how I hope and pray this will be produced often so that many people will be able to empathize and get it. Wonderful work!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: YOU MOTHER

Love this play! 29th Street Playwrights Collective chose to do a staged reading of this play for our 2019 ShePlays Festival and had to cancel when our co-producers closed the space, but this play deserves to be heard! A vital exciting piece of theatre - I hope it gets produced soon and widely!

Update - we did a reading, and it is such a disturbing dramatic piece! Great roles for women!!! Gave the whole room chills!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: SAVINGS!

Savings! is so relevant in the age of gentrification and corporate crony capitalism, and this wonderfully diverse group of characters all have so much to contribute to the world of this play. From birth to death and all that exists in between, SAVINGS! gives us a glimpse into one community, full of pleasures and pain, and so much longing! A journey not to be missed!

Funny and surprising, I really rooted for these two! Mullen is quite the romantic!

In trying to figure out how Scott Mullen is getting paid for his 10 Minute Plays while the rest of us can't even get them done for free, I read this, and there is a reason -- this is WONDERFUL! I would pay him for it if I could! READ IT, LEARN that some plays open our hearts and make us hope again! Definitely worthwhile!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Mercury

BRILLIANT! The fabulous intensity of the characters' desires struck me from the start and gripped me beginning to end top to tail, back to front. A marvel of an oddity of a theatrical event that strikes honest emotional chords even as it thrills!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Kissed the Girls and Made Them Cry

Wonderful ensemble piece that gets to the heart of the gender divides in teen life that carry over into the rest of our lives. Should be a feminist classic!
