  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Screen Play

EXCELLENT work - this play doesn't mess around. Nothing extra here. Only what's necessary to tell this particular story happening all over the country for the past year or so. I'm so glad Hansen is writing this because if I write this, I'm labelled for it. And I'm so grateful this play exists! I love how HE (the character) doesn't get it at first (because he didn't get it back then either, never even wondered about it), and I grin ear to ear at the end of this play for the hope it gives.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: WHITE HISTORY

THIS should be produced somewhere already and again and tomorrow and today I should be able to go and see this and tell my friends and family and everyone, go see this play! What is up with the theatres in this country? How is it possible not to do this play? WHY? If theatres don't think this is a play to be produced - not just read and "developed"- then maybe there is something seriously wrong with what it means to be a theatre in this country.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Independence Day: A New Play to Pay Old Debt

Here is a finely-wrought, wonderfully theatrical and hilarious adaptation that reinvigorates Centlivre's A Bold Stroke for a Wife with gender-swapping and female agency all over the place! This would be so much fun to play! Every role is a plum! And Tillotson's language is delicious and playful, poignant and highly quotable! Productions Please!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: FRANTIC IS THE CAROUSEL

There is so much energy, drama, heat, sexy (yes, as a noun), mind-games, and fire going on, it's a super-fun read and will make a fabulous production! Love that red bikini! Anderson has verve and flair!

  • There is something in the objects in this play, the things they have chosen to buy and the way they are holding it all and adjusting it all as line by line they live their life in front of us - there is something in all that business that holds so much meaning, you gotta love a play like this! Way too short - and I never say that!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Life & Death & PB&J

A metaphor about relationships? A funny quirky silly comedy? A Prague-ian glow-in-the-dark puppet show? All these are possible with this inventive script for children and adults and the children in the adults - so much fun!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: You Were Mine

However you identify, here is a fascinating characters in a 2hander that is a great exploration of love relationships. Lynett does a great job of shifting the power dynamics throughout the script - a strong match-up between protagonist and antagonist - as she builds the tension to the denouement. Mastering the reveal, Lynett provides us with a 3D portrait of Jacks moment-by-moment in this easy-to-produce show that shakes things up to inspire great late-night talks among couples!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Freaks of the Cosmic Circus

A beautiful and poetic play to take the shame right out of a person and free us all from our own darkness. Tennessee Williams is such an inspiring subject, and his coming of age is more than worthy as drama. I hope it gets produced soon!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Stiletto Envy

WOWZA - this is a killer of a heart-breaking play! First I love the title. Next I love the set-up. Then the place, the characters, and the play keeps on getting deeper and deeper until crash boom - my heart! Well done Pipes!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: The Burlesque Astronomy Play

This is such a fantastic play. The science in this play is the most fun, visual, exploding, marvelous science of all the science plays ever! And the characters are so wonderful - I love how Fiona never stops talking about her kids (this could normally drive me bonkers but because it's Fiona, it's GREAT!) and the love story, the development of our hero, the burlesque is so well done out of experimentation and desire, it's a perfect Valentine! Read, produce, repeat! (don't forget to track all results)
