All I knew about this play going in was that it had something to do with gun violence. Being written by Lauren Gunderson I should have known that it'd be very different than other work I've read or seen about this topic. This play is a true tour-de-force for an actress as she has to comedically tell her story while sprinkling troubles in her life until the play comes to its dramatic conclusion. Blending a powerful character and opportunity for dynamic sound design this play shows that victims are not just statistics but flesh and blood human beings with stories.

At the end of the world, when all seem to have been destroyed, toxic masculinity will survive according to this insightful and hysterical play. Characters that seem at first to be satirical stereotypes have real depth and growth. With this play, all will laugh and men will learn.

I've read many plays about the immigrant experience but never one from a perspective like this. The way Huang tells this story through memories and ghosts is so compelling. Produce this play!!!

This play reads like a soap opera while also exploring the rights of women in Islam. Great roles for Middle Eastern women that are so different and complicated.

Definitely a play that folks will wrestle with in that way interesting theatre should. You certainly won’t agree with each character and everything they say but you need to hear them out.

This is an absolutely brilliant play!!! The way it looks at the themes of dreams, disappointment and reconciliation is unlike any other play I've ever read. Produce this everywhere!!

This play really speaks to our need to reach out in times of crisis for help and for distraction. The way it effortlessly flows between locations and between fantasy and reality is a true strength of this play. A piece that is for actors, directors, designers and audiences that desire to expand their definition of theatre.

A play about making life decisions and how sacred spaces can be found even in soul sucking job if the right people are there. I loved how 3 dimensional these characters were and the dialogue is poetic in a way that's natural to aspiring artists.

I've read many plays about environmental issue but never one that explores how desperate someone would have to sell their land, the health of their neighbors and their souls to those that wish to destroy our planet for profit. Luna is such a complex role for a young actress and I love how this play refuses to give a cliche happy ending but forces the character and audience to sit with the decisions made.

A play about ghosts. Literal ghosts. Ghosts of the past. Ghosts of our mind. Reading this play was a magical experience. I can't wait to see a production and how directors, actors and designers bring this world to life.
