This play is a beautiful, heartbreaking (and at times hysterical) look at how we deal the things that can go wrong with our bodies. Taking place over the course of a day mostly in the waiting room of a hospital, a group of strangers talk about what it's like to not know what's going on with them and deal with loved ones that just don't get it. Reading this play forced me to sit with these fascinating characters enthralled by their plights and afterwards I was forced to deal with my own body and health. Produce this play!!!

This is the best play I've read that captures the intersection of rape culture and 21st century technology. Its a timeless story that looks at where we are and where we are heading with this new technology that makes it easier and easier to protect predators and silence victims.

The synopsis of the play perfectly let us know the situation of this play but its what happens during these hunting trips that make this such a haunting play about what some believe it means to be a man.

This play fully displays a necessary voice in today's theatre. Hysterical and heartbreaking that would be a dream come true for creative actors, directors and designers.

So often as a liberal I focus on producing work that I think will convince the "other side" of something to make them less intolerant but sometimes we need plays that help us examine our own intolerance. It's a play that feels so familiar yet completely fresh. A feast for actors and directors.

Reading this play on the page does not do justice how innovative it is. I must see this produced ASAP.

A play that takes the magical POC trope and turns it on its head. A play about magic, growing up and an ancient set on such an intimate scale. Fantastic roles for women!!

Shiv is a poetic work of theatre that plays with time in beautiful ways. A play about memory, dreams and letting go that will take awhile to shake.

More plays like this need to be written. Plays about Southeast Asian people that's not all about them being Southeast Asian but being people. Plays about people on the autism spectrum that treats them with such nuance and care.

I love reading early drafts of plays!!! Really excited to follow the development of this play. This is yet another example of Gina Femia subverting audience expectations with her characters choices and leaving things messy in awesome ways. JUST LIKE IN REAL LIFE!!! Also a really charming workplace play.
