  • Shaun Leisher: LET. HER. RIP.

A great piece of historical fiction. A play about three strong women who wanted more out of life. A play that honors the victims of misogyny and shitty policing. A play for women that want to live life on their own terms. Three brilliant roles for actresses. I really hope to see this produced someday.

  • Shaun Leisher: Daughterhood

An excellent short play that explores issues like infertility and colorism through the lens of a complicated mother-daughter relationship. So much is packed in so few pages. Really enjoyed this play.

  • Shaun Leisher: SUICIDE SEED

A poetic piece of theatre. A play filled with music and magic. A scathing commentary on the GMO industry that is also about reproductive politics. I hope this play gets produced everywhere.

  • Shaun Leisher: A Sign You Were Alive

A wonderful depiction of a father-daughter relationship. Loved the fantastical elements at play here. An ending that left me breathless. Loved the blending of comedy and horror. James and Chelsea's relationship just felt so natural. I really want to see this produced. So much potential for clever stage craft.

  • Shaun Leisher: burn for You

An epic piece of theatre. A play about belief beyond understanding and trying to break away from harmful cultures. I honestly had no clue where this play was going and how it would end. I was enthralled from the start. Loved the moments for audience participation. Regan has crafted a brilliant play that I will be thinking about for a long time.

  • Shaun Leisher: Holocaust Lit!

A brilliant look at modern-day Judaism on a college campus. This play went to some surprising and delightfully absurdist places. Each character has so many layers. This play needs to be produced all over.

  • Shaun Leisher: Letters To Mopaki

A mystery story that unravels with flashbacks. This play has great roles for women, including a killer one for an older actress.

  • Shaun Leisher: Maybe You Could Love Me

A gorgeous play about the complicated love between two life-long friends. A great play for two actresses of color to really show off their ranges. The way duty and religion are explored in this play is so fascinating. A play that leaves you with unanswered questions in a way that only great theatre can do.

  • Shaun Leisher: Ophelia

A perfect conclusion to Hamlet that I had no clue I needed. Brown has crafted such a moving piece with so much room for laughter. The world building is so strong here. The perfect amount of exposition that grounds us in the world without treating the audience like idiots. This is the ending Ophelia deserved.

  • Shaun Leisher: /kom'plisit/

A play about the lengths women will go to for men who behave badly. All of these characters are complicit in their own ways and none are true heroes. An intense play that also has room for humor and levity. I really enjoyed the use of screens throughout the play. Would love to see this produced.
