  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Last Great Act of Mankind

There's something hopeful in this end of the world play. The love between two very good friends, even if it doesn't include sex, can be extremely intimate and beautiful. This play is true love. And only those with true love can calmly watch the world burn together.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Fuck-It List

Our darkest fears bring us into philosophical conversations; what life could be, should be, or will be. And as humans, we always try to hold on to hope. This play takes the hope and shakes it up a bit. Our characters want to have hope. The audience wants to have hope for them. But then there's reality. An asteroid in the sky. It's lovely to see two couples find their humanity and a way to connect. Even though it might not even be worth it in the end...or is it?

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Never No More

Sweet, sad and magical. Proof that a Zoom play can still be engaging and memorable. Just lovely.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Shelf on the Elf: A Brick Fistula Mystery

I just finished participating in a zoom reading of this play, and the audience was so engaged and loving the fast-paced dialogue and Christmas puns!
Film noir is such a fun style for send up but often difficult to execute in a relatable way on stage. Busser nails it. As usual!
What a fun and different kind of piece to add to an evening of holiday themed plays!! You've never seen Santa like this...

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: A Bottle of Worth

Dark, terrifying and all too familiar a reflection of human nature under dire circumstances. From lights up to lights out, the audience will be squirming. Mostly because they will recognize themselves in at least one of these characters. Their most darkest of instincts. No one can be a hero when it comes to survival. There will always be a loser in order for someone to win.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Too Hard A Knot - a short play

Oh no! I need to know what else happens! I am hanging on the edge of my seat!
Hayley St James creates a diner setting that is so inviting! I find myself craving a What a Peach of Work is Man shake, myself. And as we hear and witness the desires of Regan's very soul we worry and care about the decisions she hopes to make for her future. A college theatre department would get a lot of out this script with the modern language and setting, mixed with Shakespearean dialogue and special effects.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Real Tale of Jack and Jill (Adult Version)

In this slap-stick over the top farce, the jokes come "tumbling after" fast and furiously! But don't worry, they "never kid about facts." You will get the whole true story about Jack and Jill...finally! And it is a DOOZY of a tale. Lots of opportunities for physical comedy while the puns fly just as quickly.
Everyone loves a good comedic send-up of familiar fairytale characters!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Forgive Thyself

This is a very satisfying philosophical discussion between "Man" and "God." Busser has such skill at creating strong and fun roles for women. This play is no exception. The subject matter will have audiences talking for hours after the show...and many of the lines will stick with them forever.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Assisted Living

Rose Fowler is such a great role for an older actress! I'm looking forward to the day I can play her myself. This play is a very good depiction of a family trying their hardest to stay together and keep things the same when everything is changing with the family's matriarch, Rose. Rose is strong and feisty, but her mind and body are betraying her. It's a tough path for her as well as the family. But the family bond throughout the generations are what keep it strong and on track. Just a lovely family story.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Climbing the Corporate Bladder

When I am giggling at just the list of character names, I know I am in for a good time. But I already knew I was in for a good time when I read the author's name. John Busser has once again given us a wacky situation in a familiar setting. And since it's the bathroom, I was laughing my immature butt off the whole time. There is so much room for physical comedy in this piece on top of the potty puns. So much fun!
