  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The PlayMakers

This is a romantic comedy, and not your typical romantic comedy! This would be so fun to stage with lots of great roles for multiple actors. The Zaffarano leaves the director, designers and cast plenty of room to make this their own and discover different and fun ways to break through the play within a play world.
A sweet and fun play a theatre would love to produce!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Death of Me

I just love how this story is framed! It kept me guessing the whole time and it will keep audiences on the edges of their seats! Such a terrific mystery, unlike I've ever read before. I would love to see this staged, Shelly is such a relatable character.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Clairvoyáge

John Busser provides a Robin Williams-esque, high energy role for a strong female lead! The laughs come fast and furious and each character gets their chance to shine, but Claire will definitely be a stand-out role.
I love the twist at the end as well. Such a fun piece!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Epiphany

I have seen this play a few times and every time it makes me laugh! The quiet comfort the Man and Woman have with each other really helps add to the humor in the discoveries they make about themselves. It really is a sweet and clever script and one of the reasons I am a huge David MacGregor fan!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Release the Karen!

YES! This pun-derific play is perfectly set in Ancient Greek/Roman times! Busser once again writes a strong and comedic role for a female actor, but all the characters get to shine. Way to send up The Karens of the world. Just a delightful play to add to your theatre's schedule. No refunds will be demanded! I guarantee!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: CHARLOTTE'S LETTERS

I, like many others, have a great love for the novel JANE EYRE. This play feels almost like a prequel. It shows us a love that is earned between Charlotte and Heger. And because it is earned it is that much more painful to watch it be torn away. I didn't expect to cry reading this, but here I am telling my own tears to "go away." But it seems this is a story that truly deserves them.
    Just lovely.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The People You Meet in Heaven

HA! Yes! Fast, funny and what a killer ender!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Jacob Romano

I want this to be a movie so much! It's an empowering romantic comedy that will really speak to young women. I recognize all of the relationships in this script and it makes me grateful to not be young and single anymore, to be honest. But if this were a movie, I would probably watch it over and over again! I love that it isn't neat and tidy and "they lived happily ever after." It's light hearted and fun, yes. But also very truthful.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Hold My Wings

All the hard questions about what makes life worth it or not are addressed here in a quick and clever way. The twist is, stay or go, it's all worth it eventually!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Deal - 10 Minute Play

A touch of a Rod Serling feel, but the twist at the end brought a nice smirk to my own face.
You can feel the heat in the air from the first line of this play. It's a charged and very well played game between the two characters, starting off pleasantly enough.
    This will leave audiences talking!
