  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Now Serving Number . . .

Despite the over the top nature of this play, it really makes you think. Why do these characters want a gun so desperately? Why can't they seem to follow the necessary steps to get the gun they want so desperately? And these questions leak out from the stage to reality. The audience will be laughing at the characters antics at this very strict facility, but they will also be talking about this play after. Great satire.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Splitting the Check (Ten Minute)

Oh that Brett is diabolical! And brilliant. What a delightfully awkward scene with a wonderful twist at the end.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Just Desserts

Office breakroom politics gets dark, in a hilarious way! What a fun way...no, don't do this...to take your revenge on the office P.I.G!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Sassy Old Broads

This play reminds me of all the great action comedies I loved from the 80s and 90s! But even better, it features an over 50 year old cast! So much fun to be had from performance to design and whoever gets to play the "swing" character will work up a sweat while having the time of their lives! Great characters!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: MORTUARY BEAUTICIAN: A MONOLOGUE

This may be a monologue, but there are at least two characters in this piece. It hits hard and it plays like a sad song. For, as devastating as this story is, it is full of reverence for those we lose and somehow can't protect from the darkness that is out there. This piece keeps the light burning, no matter how painful it is to continue holding the flame.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Princess and the Crone (one-act play)

I love a good fairy tale! And this really is a GOOD fairy tale! I love the rules of this world and especially love the character names. But what I love most of all, this is a fairy tale for older actors to tackle! I would love to see more from these characters! They deserve many more stories!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Everyone Calls It Poop Island

I love plays where humans get to play animals! This piece is rich with comedy and with "poop" in the title, you'll be giggling just reading the program! Also, with a little environmental message snuck in, this is a fun and poignant piece to add to your evening of short plays!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Penance - 10 Minute Play

The dialogue from the priest is so well written and comforting...until it isn't. What a wonderfully classic thriller!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Cloudy With a Chance of Contempt

I really think this is a play parents need to see, at any stage of parenthood. Lou is a refreshing voice of reason! A brilliant snapshot of family dynamics, ground rules/morality and love.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Turn Around Where Possible ( A Sat-Nav Dilemma)

This is like a classic Second City sketch or a great radio comedy! I have often said I wouldn't be able to get anywhere without SatNav guiding me. But it seems here, SatNav is making sure you NEVER go anywhere without it! Absolutely love the comedy of this piece, with a killer final bit!
