  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Creatively Evolved!

This is an artist's scifi/horror story! And it is fairly possible, which is what makes it scarier. Obviously, I am going to be reading more of the fine print when I submit scripts to competitions now!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Bear- The Bear with the Golden Fur

I did not expect The Bear to leave me in tears (aka liquid dropping from my human female eyes). I should be mad and threaten to leave The Bear in tears (aka rips along his vampire teddy bear seams) but I know in a battle against The Bear, there is no winning. This finale, however is quite the winning tale. With a mixture of action and drama, sprinkled with multiple James Bond references, this Bear will take you on quite the adventure before returning you to the beginning of his magical story.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Wheel of Fortune Reversed

Dammit, I am crying! I love how this play starts, with Michael ready for Death, but still not quite ready. Michael is smart and understands what has to happen, but still hopes for a sneak preview as to what is to come. Death is an accommodating guide. This whole short play is so full of peace, but deep inside there is still a primal scream for more. More answers, more time, more life. And this is something we all can relate.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Peculiar Puppets of Penelope Platt

Puppet therapy is real! And apparently Ace and Loopy are real effective! I expect to see them on billboards like personal injury lawyers! These fuzzy weirdoes have a future!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Peculiar Puppets of Philip Platt

Not only is this place rich for original design and character development when it comes to the two puppet characters, but it is super therapeutic. I love the definition of "good" being a beginning. When we are stuck in a dark cloud of emotion, we don't even want to bother with the tiny rays of light. Because that light is still surrounded by so much darkness. But these wise puppets can see beyond all that and more.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: THE LITTLE GIRL DOWN BY THE LAKE

This is the perfect spooky one act for young actors and audiences! This is exactly the kind of play I would have loved to act in or watch when I was younger. Very well crafted without being gory or violent. A ghost story to tell at your next lakeside vacation!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Sandy's Gift

Whoa! I was laughing and laughing until suddenly I was worried...why aren't Sandy and Curtis worried? And who IS Emily?! Ugh! This play is so great, zigging when you thought it would zag! This one will have audiences talking, for sure!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Mandryk Effect

I was laughing from the first line of over the top, heightened dialogue! How long did Busser have to think of all the different and clever ways to refer to "children?" That was what really had me going! Though this play is clearly very meta, I am outside the "cult" and I still found myself laughing! Looking forward to...the future...and more Busser vs Mandryk!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Kitty

I love the comic visual this play creates, with Kitty getting more and more menacing. But also the turn around justice given to Tyler! Funny and empowering! Just like in JAWS, keep making that Kitty bigger!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Rewind

This did not remotely go where I thought it would and I love it! Yes, it is definitely a creepy Twilight Zone-esque tale, but you do not know the mysteries about to unravel before you in this short play! Very sci-fi and very original!
