  • Christopher Plumridge: Plus One

Aw bless! This is Norkin at his best, plenty of understated humour with enough pathos sprinkled in. Both characters are so believable and their relationship is perfectly flawed.
I can see a long, happy and loving future ahead of them.... well maybe not so long.
    Love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Mostly Harmless Neighbors

In the quiet tranquility of the suburbs, a quaint tea party is being planned and the new neighbor cordially invited. The neighbor seems mostly harmless, just another Aquatic Individual. Yes, I love this new gender/identity... call it what you will!
Subtle and funny, but with a sad tinge, as below some parts of society, discrimination still raises it's ugly head.
An excellent short which I would love to see performed!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Mighty Mac

Utterly heartbreaking. War ravages the body as much as the mind. Poor Kenny has made a promise, one he intends to keep at all cost, but the consequences of his actions were decided on the battlefield more so than this desperate moment.
    Simple, yet beautifully told.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Punch Bowl (Bascom & Isaac #1)

This is such an awkward yet beautiful meet cute! What more can I say?
Well, I can say that I've learned a new word, or one that should be a word, FETISHIZING. And I intend to use that word in a sentence very soon!
I would love to see this performed!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Abattoir

ABATTOIR has to be just about the funniest horror play I've ever read! And I never expected to write such words. The characters are fleshed out, literally in most cases, and the dialogue is slick, never relenting. I would love to see a student group take on this play and throw everything into it.
Favourite character has yo be Moribund the Lesser.
    Brilliantly surreal!

  • Christopher Plumridge: This Is Not the Cotswolds and You’re Not Cameron Diaz

Being partially deaf I can certainly relate to this clever, subtlely funny play! The conversation trips along a pace, has lots of misunderstandings yet still somehow makes sense! Love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: CHIMNEY MONSTER

Ah, this is proof that not all monsters are nasty or evil. In this heartwarming short, Santa does his best to appease the chimney monster, tapping into his/her/its/their heart and finding an ember still glowing.
As support characters go, Spark is a fun character with lots of attitude.
A really unique and satisfying play!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Great Anderton Snowfall Debacle of 2025

Ha! Being a Brit and a fan of the subject matter Darren Anderton, I thoroughly enjoyed this one act!
Aside, it's a heartwarming tale of true friendship, because most friends fight sometimes.... then theres the surreal setting and the rather odd hallucination, bringing even more fun to this play.
I hope Darren survives this 'dusting' of snow!
    Love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer and Liked It

This fun plays reads like a Noir, as Detective Chip Block of the brilliantly named PDPDDDD has to get his head round what seems like a senseless crime involving two of Santa's Reindeer. Donder and Vixen change their story enough times to throw this poor detective, but in time he gets to the bottom of the case. Great fun, and miss Red Riding Hood gets a look in too!
    Great festive fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Fighting Hands

Once again with this playwright I feel I've found a few middle pages of a full length play, wishing I had the full story to read.
This is a powerful short with the ideal title.
As is so often the case, the strength to forgive is the hardest fight to win.
