  • Christopher Plumridge: Don't Disturb the Clams

Oh, how fickle fame can be! This clammer, minding her own business, has her clams disturbed by Mr & Mrs 'Look at Me' out to make an even bigger name for themselves. This is a slick clever play where this humble clammer has everything very much under control. A great, unique play!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Pas de deux

It can be so difficult to let go of our passion, especially when it's due to our age. I really admire Ruza's attitude, she's worried, scared even, but she won't let anything or anyone stop her having one last moment in the lights, even if it risks her hip!
This is a wonderfully written two hander with lots to say.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Wednesday Night Live

Jessie is a super enthusiastic, vibrant and fun make-up 'influencer' and as she goes live on her Wednesday night slot, her followers quickly grow in numbers. Tonight, she helps two such followers, in quite different ways, such is the power of the Internet.
This is a slick, pacy play which would work well on Zoom, but probably better projected on stage. Very good!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Subway Adventures

The advice is generally 'don't talk to strangers', and on a subway station, this is usually all the more important. Yet sometimes, even beginning with a misunderstanding, two strangers can begin a conversation and find something in common, which leads to a friendship. I have a feeling these two are heading off on a wonderful adventure together, even if it's tumultuous. A great two hander!

  • Christopher Plumridge: A 3-act, centuries-long love affair (abridged)

This must be the longest time span crammed into one page! A great vampire epic of epically small proportions, and it's fun too! Love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Reflections Of A Daydream

In this short play, there is so much pain and loss between mother and son, reflected in the painting he's bought home.
But despite the hurt, accusations and reveals you sense there is still love here, and John portrays this beautifully.

  • Christopher Plumridge: A Higher Power

This is a wonderfully funny slice of Monty Python-esque hilarity!
No spoilers, read this for yourself, but suffice to say Jesus comes up with a miracle of an idea to orchestrate their escape.
Best line ever...'Pass the brownies on the left hand side' ! Tales me back to my musical youth. Love it!!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Go Junk Go

Haha! Naughty Nancy! This is a short short which packs a punch (or packs a box). Reminiscent of Tales of the Unexpected and I do believe there's a longer play to be written here, but as it stands, it's spot on!
    Great!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Feeling Devilish

Oh dear, the devil is now on tinder, or a rather similar dating website! Thankfully Rogers friend calls in to save the day, but it's one exorcism Roger doesn't need or want, and does he listen to the good advice of his friend, the devil he doesn't!
    Great fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Plants Die by the Foot

Next time I go to a garden centre I really will think twice about where I walk! This is a fun, dark, sinister play where plants get their revenge on 'influencers'. It's a sad sign of the times that these two captives were more concerned about their phones than their lives...!
