Hell have no fury as two women fighting over the last deck chair! I have witnessed my wife on such a similar conflict of sun lounger, which thankfully I managed to quickly defuse. So this battle of wills is so very believable, if only the hotel would put out more deck chairs this might have been avoided! This is a wonderful, fun, short play, fully deserving of the many awards it's won. Great!

ALMA STRIKES A CHORD is such a fun, poetic, lyrical, dance of a play, you can imagine it all played out in one fluid movement. There is so much love too, as Alma attempts to write the perfect love song for her beloved. She succeedes but perfection is in the ear of the listener! If this is based in Ukranian folklore then I hope its people can celebrate like this soon. This really is a lovely play!

In WALKING THE WALK, we see two ladies of a certain age taking a break from their epic stoll and whilst doing so seek enjoyment from watching other fellow walkers. Incensed by what they see from one couple, (we might simply tut disapprovingly), they begin to shout out some insults across the park. I would love to see this couples reaction to these naughty ladies! Great fun!

This is a totally bizarre, irreverent, weird and perfectly wonderful conversation, no, argument, no, altercation. Whatever it is between these two gents waiting for strange animal deliveries at their local train station is brilliant, any fan of Monty Python will adore this short play! I love it so much!

I absolutely ADORE this play, and isn't ANDELA the best angel ever?? If this really is the second coming, then what a fun way to announce your presence on Earth!
Andela is a wonderful character who steals the show, but all other characters are excellent and well constructed too. Jordan and Alex's reactions are spot on and poor Scott being thrown into this scenario is as hilarious as the 'two' doctors. I understand this play was produced recently, I wish I'd had the chance to see it. BEAUTIFUL AND BRILLIANT!

In EIGHT AUNT MARYS, there is so much said between laboured breaths, yet the one thing Christopher needs to hear is the final ingredient. In her final speech, Eileen gives a confession as well as some wonderful memories. A great monologue for an older actor, and to have an actor playing her son by her bedside could work too. Very good.

I clearly remember THE ROTARY PHONE, taking ages to make a call, then worried I'd got a number wrong. These youngsters from the future find one such phone, and their confusion is palpable, as they figure out the technology this avocado coloured machine somewhat lacks the gadgets they do now. Then the final scene is a sheer delight!

THE BEAST is truly wonderful, scary and also just as funny! A perfect tail of good versus evil, it would be a delight for young audiences, adults too, of course. I love all the references to Dracula, especially seeing Dog armed with said Bram Stoker book!
'Twinkle Twinkle little rat' I love this!

Hard hitting and poetic, THE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO GIRLS is a stunning piece of work. Just how many people on 9/11 were not supposed to be there? Emily tackles this in a unique way, from the perspective of three women with different character traits and situations. This would be stunning when staged, there are so many ways you could bring this great play to life.

Amongst a group of friends, of any age, there's always one who comes out with a profound reasoning, such is the case here. Acted out this would be quite a performance where their friends would truly want to change their answer. Great!
