  • Christopher Plumridge: 15 Seconds

There's something in the way this is staged, which makes play even more stark and emotional. The shafts of light over each character as they speak, shate their light or cannot. 15 seconds.... that's all it took to tear apart so many lives and loves. Sadly, this event is all too common. Bruce has painted a truly heartbreaking tale of love and loss in this excellent short play. I'm close to tears.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Tickle That Dragon

I confess that I have not read a single Potter book, or barely seen any of the films, so I very much doubt I'd be invited into this particular group! Rex gives us a fun fan group of all things Harry, where all members are potty on Potter! Great fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: 12, ANGRY, MEAN

Ha, well done Paul, I do like to be tricked! Read this, stage this or watch this, either way it won't end the way you think. Great fun in such a short play!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Early Flight

This play would be so much fun to stage, and indeed to watch, as we see Evan take an early flight home with the expectation of catching his wife having an affair.
I love the way the playwright offers us alternative endings, both equally funny and fitting. Great!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Monster in the House

This is a gritty and real examination of emetophobia, tastefully and sympathetically tackled by the playwright. I admit I hadn't heard the word before but I was aware of the condition. Liv brings this condition to life so very well. A great monologue.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Pink

Ah, it's not just Victoria who has a secret, seems Justin has too! And this comes as quite a surprise to innocent Marie. This is a fun short play of misunderstandings which would be fun to watch and surely to stage.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Ground Control to Baby Tom

Planet Earth is blue, and there's nothing they can do.... or can they? Two women on a mission orbiting Jupiter's are unexpectedly faced with a difficult decision in this smart short play. They must chose which of them would be the best mother, but how can that be known? A clever concept and a two great roles for the actors. Nice.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Heist!

Ha! I love these two bumbling buffoons! This would be so much fun to stage and to watch, as we witness Gene and Billy the Kid try to steel the Hope Diamond from the Smithsonian. Lisa cleverly introduces us to a character who remains unseen, but has a real presence in the play. This is a hilarious, fast paced comedy which children will love to be in the audience for, and adults will love it too. Very funny!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Revenge Play

Put crabs in a bucket and they may well fight to the death. Put three Rachel's into the words of an unseen typewriter and all hell kicks off! This is a clever, unique play full of high spirited interaction between the three Rachel's in question. Do they figure our what is happening, read it for yourself, it's great!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Next Time Portnoy Sneezed

This is a clever concept, protagonist meets their narrator, I wish I had thought of it! Portnoy wakes up from a nightmare straight into another, at least a very strange dream. Who is this intruder, how does he know so much, why does he want him to sneeze? Portnoys reaction to his narrator is hilarious in places, other times he's naturally very worried. I love this play!
