Yazoo? How about Yahoo! This play is a pure delight! Jean Ciampi does wonders crafting the comedy for these larger-than-life characters. It's a romantic, wild, and hilarious romp!

  • Brenton Kniess: ADIOS AMIGO

You can feel the heartbreak that Tony faces. The journey that he goes on is so captivating and gut-wrenching. The relationship that Paul Smiith creates is succinct but is layered with this gravitas that pulls the audience even closer to Tony. This reminds me of a short two-hander entitled Post-its (Notes on a Marriage). But what Smith does here that is different is that he is able to find that heart told from one perspective, but we as an audience don't miss out on any details of this loving relationship. An enchanting piece of theatre.

This is a wonderfully exquisite play by Jillian Blevins! This feels like a Victorian-era classic made fresh and unique for today's world. Tonally, the play's comedy has a very nice flow and pace to it that makes it leap off the page. It's utterly charming and hilarious! A fantastic piece of theatre!

  • Brenton Kniess: Target after lunch, and other judgments on the state of man (A monologue for men)

Whenever you read any of Darrin's work, you will always be captivated by where he takes the characters. This monologue is powerful, expressive, and honest. There is an undeniable sense of love that will pull at everyone's heartstrings. A fantastic monologue for an actor to dive into.

This adaption has this undeniable warmth and adventure that makes this one act truly stand out. I thought the characters were well drawn in this adaption and Schmitz was able to elevate the story in her own unique approach. It's refreshing, fun, and creative. A wonderful adaption!

I really enjoyed the premise that John Hilla sets up. The characters created are so well developed and very unique. This play felt very natural and the progression that Hilla crafts is just the icing on the cake. Well done.
