This dramedy is quite clever and unique. I really enjoyed the approach to the fat camp location which is something that I have never witnessed in stage before. The characters are really well developed and Brown makes you feel their every emotion as this script is structured beautifully. It feels very human and sincere. Would be amazing to see this fully realized on the stage.

At first glance this play is quite lengthy, but make no mistake, Kerr Lockhart’s old hollywood dark comedy moves fast thanks to its snappy dialogue and tight story. These characters come to life beautifully, and Lockhart sets up the perfect atmosphere with the wonderfully crafted old Hollywood backdrop that just adds a layer of charm and depth to this engaging piece of theatre.

This piece is so intimate, intriguing, and so intense. It’s a piece of theatre that would really stick with an audience at any festival.
