  • Jaxson Mackling: Slapjack Saturday

A lovely little comedy about friendship and a rodent! - sorry I mean mammal! Ha!
KNIESS' is beginning to become one of my favorite writers as of late! SLAPJACK SATURDAY is a clever comedy that hits all the right notes. I would love to direct this! The perfect comedy for any Saturday night! One sure to cheer you up! Brava is an understatement.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Luck of the Draw

While our current government does nothing of this sort, I sure hope they won’t. KNIESS’ play “Luck Of The Draw” is a moving two hander about the concept of arranged marriage and how this “to be” couple truly feels. The dialogue between them is very moving. A compelling piece of Theatre. Produce this over and over. Bravo!

  • Jaxson Mackling: Road Trip

PROBST'S play "Road Trip" is a hilarious, fun, and yet somewhat dawning look at what it means to be a huge family going on a road trip, and truly questions the facts of life behind the wheel - the good and the bad.

A farce at its finest. Almost reminded me of Anne Washburn's Post-Apocalyptic Play...in the sense of the comedy. A lovely piece for any family to enjoy! Well done. Highly recommended!

    Produce this, please!

  • Jaxson Mackling: Mina, Dina, Tina, and Bean’s Completely Average Pandemic Pod Powerpoint Party

I'm sorry, but I have always hated both Zoom and Microsoft Team's software, and Hayley's play is the apitimy of my horrid hatred! This play is super hilarious, and I cannot count the multiple times I laughed audibly. A lovely play of typical Zoom nature - as St. James states; "It goes completely fine." ....It does it really does. Everything is fine... Produce this please.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Five Bears - a very short play

ST JAMES’ short play, “Five Bears” is such a sweet look at what it means to love someone even if the relationship is a bit “rocky”. …What does it truly mean to love someone? That is the true theme of this play. A play that would work well for a night of New Works. Please produce this little play, you will not be disappointed!

  • Jaxson Mackling: DEEP POCKETS

LERMOND’s short play “Deep Pockets” is a quick look at the many living in poverty. Two people - just wanting for something. The play is has sad undertones in a place for hopefulness. Well done. Perfect for one act competitions. Your audience will live questioning their own limits and morals.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Jessie Loves Our Dog

DZUBAK’s one minute scene “Jessie Loves Our Dog” is chilling, provocative, and ultimately unsettling. The fact that we don’t know what Jessie doing is the real kicker…all from a thud of what sounds like a meat clever. You can see Cole’s real passion for writing in this piece. Perfect for radio or anthropology!

Masterfully well written. A piece well done!

  • Jaxson Mackling: Exhausted Paint: The Death of Van Gogh

I was lucky enough to witness MAXWELL's brillantly written work on tour in production at Millikin University. What a master Maxwell is at creating such deep and rich dialogue; ultimately sending the characters and his audiences on a journey! What a journey this show was. I never understood how crazed Van Gogh was, and MAXWELL did him justice. Please consider producing this work in your season. A powerful work for a brillant actor. A tilt-a-whirl of emotion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  • Jaxson Mackling: The Lonely Man, No more!

FRANK’S play “The Lonely Man, No More!” is one heck of a nine-minute roller coaster ride! This play felt extremely real, as if John actually experienced physical moments of this play in his day-to-day life.

So many great beats in this amazing and impactful play. A lovely masterpiece about trusting your instincts to find that balance the greater workings inner peace and true calming solitude.

A great work of art for two seasoned actors.

  • Jaxson Mackling: Made by Thumb

“Made By Thumb” is more than fabulous. A briskful British comedy made lovely by only the tips of Scott’s THUMBS. Yes, you heard me. This play was written completely on his phone where the actors (playing actors) in the play are merely mortals doing what SICKLES wants them to do. …Oh and let’s not forget the major Problem in this tiny play; ANTS!

A brilliantly written small piece of theatre that is surely to make audiences laugh and whence with fear at the prospect of this beautiful play. Produce this piece; now!
