  • Exhausted Paint: The Death of Van Gogh
    18 Apr. 2023
I was lucky enough to witness MAXWELL's brillantly written work on tour in production at Millikin University. What a master Maxwell is at creating such deep and rich dialogue; ultimately sending the characters and his audiences on a journey! What a journey this show was. I never understood how crazed Van Gogh was, and MAXWELL did him justice. Please consider producing this work in your season. A powerful work for a brillant actor. A tilt-a-whirl of emotion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
  • The Lonely Man, No more!
    7 Apr. 2023
FRANK’S play “The Lonely Man, No More!” is one heck of a nine-minute roller coaster ride! This play felt extremely real, as if John actually experienced physical moments of this play in his day-to-day life.

So many great beats in this amazing and impactful play. A lovely masterpiece about trusting your instincts to find that balance the greater workings inner peace and true calming solitude.

A great work of art for two seasoned actors.
  • Chances Are
    2 Apr. 2023
TAUBE’s two minute piece, “Chances Are” is a sweet and interesting look at your everyday homeless encounter; we need more people like Charlie in this world.
  • Made by Thumb
    22 Mar. 2023
“Made By Thumb” is more than fabulous. A briskful British comedy made lovely by only the tips of Scott’s THUMBS. Yes, you heard me. This play was written completely on his phone where the actors (playing actors) in the play are merely mortals doing what SICKLES wants them to do. …Oh and let’s not forget the major Problem in this tiny play; ANTS!

A brilliantly written small piece of theatre that is surely to make audiences laugh and whence with fear at the prospect of this beautiful play. Produce this piece; now!
  • Prior Engagement
    15 Mar. 2023
THOMAS’ short play “Prior Engagement” is sweet look at what it means to lose someone you love, and that same lose is even worse when you’re trying your best not remember them, but you can’t help it…you’re sad, you’re longing for someone, and Thomas’ play is just that. …Longing for someone you used to love.

“Prior Engagement” is heartbreaking and sweet, gut wrenching and gritty. Two sisters, past memories; a beautiful story. Please produce this piece, I beg of you!
  • I Survived Being Haunted at my Childhood Home: Age 6
    12 Mar. 2023
DUZBAK’s piece, “I Survived Being Haunted At My Childhood Home: Age 6” is a chilling experience of the supernatural and what might come from it. To Cole’s parents and his sister, he is just “seeing” things…but to Cole’s surprise is really just “seeing” things? This piece felt short and straight to the point. I would love to see more!

“I Survived Being Haunted In My Childhood Home: Age 6” would be fantastic for a night of plays with the theme “Hometown Hauntings” or “Experiences of the Supernatural”! Dzubak is fabulous playwright, please produce this work!
  • DANCING WITH UNICORNS-a very short play
    9 Mar. 2023
BUTLER’s short play, “Dancing With Unicorns” is majestic (no pun intended)! The way the pacing moves and swells, is utter perfection! A little family drama with beautiful issues; all because of a hardworking mother who needs a break.

Read. Produce. Repeat! I would love to direct this!
  • Daddy's Safe
    3 Mar. 2023
PLUMRIDGE's short piece, "Daddies Safe" is a chilling explanation of what it means to be captured and then guilt tripped into doing what someone wants at your own will... "Daddies Safe" will make you think. It will make it feel. It is a brillant piece of theatre.
  • The Closet Door
    24 Feb. 2023
HEYMAN’s short piece “The Closet Door” reveals the truth of how hard it can be for queer folk who are beginning to find themselves in who are in their sexuality. This play will make you think and feel.

A lovely little piece of queer theatre. It’s poetic. It’s relatable. It’s powerful. Well done!
  • Lady Business (from the THE WRINKLE RANCH AND OTHER PLAYS ABOUT GROWING OLD collection)
    22 Feb. 2023
I laughed wholeheartedly! This play a hoot! You never know what happens next, when Deb is in the writers room…one minute she’s drama, the next she’s the queen of comedy!

COLE’s short piece, “Lady Business” takes a fun spin on real issues for all humans; the truth. …They even fight off the haters! A lovely juxtaposition between what it means to a person of society and the beautiful terrors of life.

Poetic. Hilarious. Truthful. A real charm.
