As powerful as it is brief! Claudia manages to tackle this topic in a way that avoids pitfalls and missteps some writers have fallen into while still leaving us haunted. Would LOVE to see this included in a festival or anthology on gun reform.
  • Goat-Sucker: A One-Minute Play

I love this short play!! Henry has a very distinct voice that she uses to convey an important message in an exceptionally charming way. This play is as funny, timely, and unafraid to take risks (that pay off) as her longer works. Definitely a playwright to keep an eye on!

I've always loved Alice and I am beyond grateful someone tackled "Adult Alice" in an honest way. Life is often disappointing, the world is often confusing, and most of us spend a lot of time feeling helpless and lost. This is of course much more complicated for a girl that's been to Wonderland and back (a few times). Jared handles Alice's past experiences, and current dilemmas, in an intriguing and sympathetic way that reminds us of our own attempts at growing up. I really dig this play and hope it turns up in a festival soon!

I'm a huge fan of tackling technology on stage so this script makes me happy on a couple of levels. Super quick, super fun, and definitely of the present time! Would go nicely in a festival or anthology!

Rachael not only has a perfect short for two women but the women are in roles that are usually given to men. Let us hope this starts a trend where women play more scientists and boxers in dark comedies. There's a ton of other stuff working for this exciting piece too aside from what I'm gushing over. It definitely deserves to be read, discussed, produced, and so forth!

Short but deeply moving piece. I think it's a very timely piece (especially while there are obvious comparisons to be me regarding the Reagan era to today) that touches on empathy and lack thereof. Looking forward to reading more of Rachael's work and hopefully seeing something soon!

Very nice, intimate, and heartwarming 10-minute play. Looking forward to see what Elaine does with a full-length after seeing what she conveys in something this short.

A heartbreaking short play. It's hard to read because it's sadly realistic. Definitely makes you want to open your wallet and hug a stranger.

I love this play! As usual Rachel tackles something that's very hard to discuss but in a manner that marries her sense of humor with her honest demeanor. Her words, and ideas, need to produced much more often starting with this script.

This play needs to be produced everywhere. I can't begin to put into words how this play touched me and I have a feeling it's going to stay with me for quite awhile. Inda is definitely a playwright to keep an eye out for.
