  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Edible Complex

This is such an important subject to tackle early on. Not just with the children, but with the adults children look up to. When mom says: "I didn’t realize you were paying attention. Somehow I forgot that
you’re always paying attention," it really hit hard. Children need to love themselves and love themselves enough to eat what they love when they're hungry without punishing themselves. I can just imagine the many fun ways this show can be staged and how many children...and adults...this will help!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: No Smoking, Please

This monologue play is such a great piece for an actor, but the stories that intertwine are so engaging and intriguing. I absolutely gasped at the end of Seth's tale! This would be a marvel to watch from the audience and quite a workout for an actor! An intimidating and inspiring piece to behold!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: At The Wake of a Dead Drag Queen

This isn't a play, this is a SHOW! I was wiping tears at the finale, and I fell in love with the characters in this story. It's devastating that we are still fighting this disease, but while we fight, we can still do it in style.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Annnd Scene (of the Crime)

Busser has done it again! This police drama/improv comedy is so fun and spot on! As an improv actor, I was laughing with the creative ways the suspect continued to change the scene with each ding of the bell. I think this could be an effective tool in solving mysteries...in the improv comedy scene. Very clever concept and a great opener for a night of "dangerous" improv!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: THE FINALIST

I found myself nodding through the Playwright's monologues. Everything said is so true and so very soul crushing. And it's quite obvious by the soul dead character of Rudy as well.
Nothing is interesting or worthy to Rudy. Carla still has hope, but being in the basement of this literary department doesn't hold that hope to last long.
10 pages! Why do you need a synopsis for TEN PAGES?! Just read it!
This play should open every playwright showcase!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Skin Song

This is more than a play. This is a symphony, an epic poem and a living painting all in a modern fairy tale. There are so many lessons to be learned in this piece and though it has an aura of sadness, I still see the hope at the end. For everyone. Love is not something to be possessed. It is to be shared. And so is this play.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: BoiToi3000

This is such a sweet and special play! I love that the robot is so useful in so many ways! You expect this to be a comic sex romp, but instead you are given a very heart-warming romantic comedy. The twist of genres was such a great surprise, but also the inclusivity of this play is so inspiring and I am so looking forward to the world catching up to be as great a person as the BoiToi3000!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: THE ABORTION BUS

I gasped at the last page of this very powerful short play. It's not hard to imagine the world these ladies live in could possibly exist and that's what makes it so heart-breaking. So strong and a must read before it is too late for all of us!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: That Which Doesn't Kill Us: A Ten-Minute Play

This is so maddeningly real! We all go through this and we all just desperately want the hero to fix everything so we can just get back to our regularly scheduled lives. But if we take a breath and focus and allow ourselves to be guided into fixing the issues ourselves we will be on a better path and a much better future ahead! So many great things going for this play!!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: I Love You More Than I Can Bear

Another punderful piece from John Busser! At first you are really worried for Ori in this creepy situation. But, the way they come to connect is truly sweet! Love it when 2 people can come together and bravely let their freak flags fly!
