  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Full Magnolia

Like in life, the characters in this play wear their snarky one-liners like armor. And they are undeniably funny, but with each verbal barb, they push each other away a little. When they literally remove all barriers, something magical happens. This play isn't so much about nudity as it is about being open and available to your fellow humans. Yes, you will laugh. But by the end, you will feel their connection. This play is potential magic.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Last Writes

I can see this playing so well on stage or on film! It's very relatable and the visuals would be humorous and touching.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Naked Are The Molerats

Oh to be someone's favorite smell! I was giggling through this whole play. But the message is sweet, too. When you think that there's nothing left for you to do on this earth, don't despair, because you might be someone else's favorite smell! The punch line is brilliant!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: This Girl Runs on Jesus and Horses

This is just so adorable! Dixie Rae has wonderful platitudes that could definitely grate one's nerves after a bit, but doesn't make them any less wise, despite their overly "horse and holy" framing. The reveal at the end is wonderful. Absolutely love this short!

    The logic is strong. Points.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Truck Stop Christmas

A very sweet and wholesome holiday play. I love Ben's wish at the end of the play! Smart kid! A great message all around.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: FRUITING BODIES

What a nice, realistic and sometimes funny conversation about mushrooms and healing from addiction…until Amanda comes home!!! Wow this is a smart play that will take you for a ride you will not see coming! I’m invested in these characters. You will be too!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: KAIROS [A 1-MINUTE PLAY]

Sweet, sad and somewhat Brechtian. This will be super fun for audiences to witness as it unfolds. The laughter as we hear the characters telegraph their actions, and the emotional gut punch as we see how their actions affect them.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Beat Your Vegetables

So much fun! The action starts immediately and doesn't stop! Along with the great physical comedy! Just don't let your kids see this play if you ever want them to eat another vegetable...

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: A Subtle Smile (ten-minute play)

There is the face we wear and the face we show the world. There is the world we experience and the world we remember. Sometimes there are huge differences between the two and sometimes merely subtle. Poor Mary/Maria is seeing both simultaneously and it can be upsetting and confusing. She takes us on a journey with her as she straddles both images. This will be a challenging, emotional piece for the right performer!
